There?s a layer of delicious sauce that gives the avocadotoast at Nourish a very unique and special flare. INCREDIBLE VEGAN FOOD! Got the vegan scallops (incredible cheap compared to at normal restaurants, sweet potato fries, and a... delicious platter complete with vegan oxtail, jerk steak, chickpea Alfredo, Mac and cheese, and squash/mushrooms. Everything wassimply sensational and it was the best vegan soul and Caribbean food I've ever tasted. I came from Atlanta and heard praises from this amazing restaurant. On my last day in Philly I was blessed with great and fast... service. My food was so nostalgic! I was eating Mac and cheese, fried chicken and greens. After not eating chicken for a coupleof years, I sat back and closed my eye with that first bite and it did not disappoint! Good, but a little disappointing. The food was fresh and hot but left something to be desired. The vegan scallops were not... evenly made. Some were good and chewy while others were either hard, tough or rubbery. The fried chicken was just Ok and lackedflavor. The tacos were very good and the mac & cheese was average. I just moved to the area and stopped by Nourish on my way home from work today. My plate of food was colorful, generous and full... of flavor! I can't wait to come back and try some of their other dishes. Vegan or not, this place has something for everyone. Read more
