GEM! Place was lively with a party, lot was almost to capacity, entertainment was entertaining. That was the draw, BUT the food... and service in the midst of all the liveliness was GOOD! Anthony our server, attentive, personable and knew menu well. My sweetpotato soup was exceptional. Cucumber Martini, potent. Focaccia with ricotta and apples appetizer, a surprising twist. And, mymain course of crab cakes with a mustard sauce, (I think)and roasted veggies(potatoes, carrots, Brussel sprouts) was really goodwithout being overly done up. Topped off with a good crème brûlée. It was a good dining experience start to finish. EncrustedFluke fish, with veggies, and Ravioli were enjoyed just as much by my table mates, and a hazelnut dessert and the chocolatecake, ALL fawned over and enjoyed. As many times as I have been to South Philly, I never knew about this place. I couldn't believe it. Let's start with the... outside. It's in the neighborhood but there is abundant parking - with a parking lot on the side. Outdoor seating is available.The inside is outstanding. Spacious capacity nice temperature. I was with a group after a Phillies game and we were seatedright away. Our server was Claudia and she was incredible and perfect. She knew the specials and the menu back to front.Incredibly polite and efficient with a dinner crowd to manage. Can't say enough good things about the service. Top notch A+ .Then there is the food menu. In a word -Amazing! I had the Caprese and Fruti Di Mare. I highly recommend but everything on themenu is a can't go wrong. Authentic Italian cuisine that is a can't miss hidden gem in South Philadelphia. Also easy access tosports complex and the Philadelphia International Airport. Enjoy and Thank me later. Read more
I was here after a funeral so the menu was fixed as expected. I thought the food was very good as were the portions. The staff... was friendly as well. There was also an adjacent parking lot so parking was easy. I did not feel rushed. Bar was available aswas coffee. The tables sat 7 which I felt was a little crowded. Read more
As noted in other reviews the parking is great. I enjoyed the food. I had the calamari for appetizer and the veal saltimbocca... was good. The sauce was great and the veal was tender and well cooked. One negative was the mashed potatoes tasted like from abox. All said and done I enjoyed the experience and will have this place on my list of favorites. Read more

Made you feel like they were doing your favor by letting you eat there . Place wasn't busy yet the food took forever. Everything... was cold including the bread . I've also had less water downed wine in church . Too bad this place survived the Pandemic. What awaste of town house space Read more
