Reviews for PrimoHoagies in Philadelphia, PA
Impressively large hoagies for a solid price. Very impressed by the quality of the bread in particular. First time in my life I... wished for a low sodium option though lol Read more
The only thing about this particular place in that particular location is that the workers look like they need rehab for real. I... tend to be uncomfortable with a certain look. The cashier was twisting his hair over and over again. The small figured chick wasplaying with her braids over the open luncheon meats. I really didn't enjoy it at all. I barely finished a half of it. Otherwise it's ok somewhere else. Read more
We stopped here on our first night in Philly and seriously this is the best hoagie I have ever eaten. I don't even like hoagies... like that but when I say this was the BEST thing we ate in Philly and New York, whew child... don't skip this place. We ate itso fast that we forgot to take a picture. No where near the best, no where near the worst. Genuinely ok. If Wendy's was a Hoagie shop, it would be Primos and I say that... being someone who eats Wendy's weekly of not more often. If your in a pinch l, craving a Hoagie, and don't feel like going to anindependent shop, primo will do just fine Read more
The manager Joe is terrific and helps resolve issues timely and effectively. Unfortunately our order was taken wrong due to... staffing challenges on a day he was out but Joe stepped up to make it right when he returned. Good service given the challengingstaffing environment and solid food Read more
Tried Primo last night. Got a Roast Beef. And I gotta say, it was absolutely delicious! Let me tell you, most places will boast... fresh ingredients. This place? You open the front door and your sinuses are clear for a week and a half, the ingredients are sofresh. Forget the tragedy that is Subway, skip the impatience of Jimmy John's, this needs to be your new sandwich shop. And grabyourself one of their incredible cookies while you're there! Read more
This store serves quality food and is genuinely delicious. The reason behind my review is that during my recent visit, I found... multiple strands of long hair in and around my hoagie. It made me question the entire cleanliness of the establishment. Wawa andSubway requires its workers to wear hairnets at all times, why isn?t Primo?s following the same procedure? I won?t call out theemployee who made my sandwich. I just want to find resolution to this issue. Thank you. Read more
One of a chain of a local sandwich shop which never fails to cure my craving for a long roll sandwich, especially for the sesame... seed ones they use. Hot or cold you can't go wrong with 3 different sizes for the craving size. Read more
