Went there while on a trip to Philly with the family because it was the only place with cheese steaks that took cards. It was... very pricy and they charged exorbitant amounts for the tip. After an hour wait for three sandwiches while the restaurant waspractically empty, we had to walk back to our hotel because there was absolutely no seating. Read more
I visited this PRIMO'S - 3rd & Market for a "take out" hoagie on April 9, 2022 (the young lady forgot to put my hoagie in my... bag). I gladly returned one hour later (I'm glad that she did because after I arrived home to eat my hoagie, (later), the tasteof it was "so damn amazing"!!! Stopped by for lunch during a vacation I took recently to Philadelphia. A tour guide I met during one of the big bus tours... company recommended this place since my husband & I were from out of town. The Philly cheesestake was not what I was expecting(meat prepared differently than I have had previously) and I should have ordered the seedless bread. Next time I'll have to trysomething else to see what else the menu has to offer. Read more
On to the next one, this was my final Philly cheesesteak experience during my trip to Philadelphia. I am happy that I came here... because this was the best Philly cheesesteak I had! The cheesesteak I ordered was topped with provolone cheese and firedonions. I loved the sesame seed hoagie bun! It was fresh and toasted; it had the perfect crunch to it with every bite. Theprovolone cheese was all over, but it was all over in a good way. There was an even amount of cheese distributed throughout all10? of the sandwich. The fried onions were cooked at a not so super crunchy state. I was incredibly happy that the fried onionswere cooked better because the three other places I went to lightly cooked their fried onions at a crunchy state. I wasbeginning to think that was the norm. But PrimoHoagies cooked them just the way I like it! PrimoHoagies also has exceptionalcustomer service! I was hugely impressed with how kind the cashier and cook were to me. Both ladies Both ladies greeted me as Iwalked into the restaurant. Both were helpful with the menu. They did not try to rush me into ordering. They were bothrespectful and treated me right, and I appreciate that. Because of both the delicious cheesesteak and the exceptional customerservice here, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. The next time I am in Philadelphia, I will be sure to come hereagain. A nice place overall ???? the cashier was nice, let me swap out my drink when I picked the wrong one. The only complaint I had... is that the bread was a bit stale, but they sure gave is alot of meat for a medium Haha.
