I don't know much about Jamaican food, but this place is so good. All platters come with 2 sides. The chicken, shrimp curry,... yam, rice and beans are great. There are two locations right next to each other. We went to the right side. They only take cashthere. When you get to the counter, know what you want in advance. Read more

The jerk BBQ wings were fantastic. The wings were large, they were coated in sauce and the sauce was beyond good. The jerk pork... was good but dry. Thank goodness for the extra BBQ sauce. The pumpkin rice was really good. It's a walk up counter with thefood ready to pack up and serve. It's mostly takeout but there are about five seats. We were served great, but I felt bad forthe employees after the way other customers treated them. Questioning the portion sizes and offerings. Read more

I used to come here often. Then I moved so it's been a couple of years until yesterday. The food was okay. The mac is bland.... They give A LOT OF RICE with the platter. Not a lot of veggies or meat. The jerk chicken comes dry and they provide two littlecups of sauces on the side. I asked for more sauce and the lady lied and said it was on the platter. It was NOT. The cabbage wasreally good (it used to be hard). The pepper steak was good but a little dry. They're stingy with the juice. Overall, 3/5. Read more

Amazing food! Staff is friendly and the portions are large. This is my favourite Jamaican spot in Philly :)

Food is excellent. Serving sizes out side of the "mini" are huge. The line can be a little long at times, but that's what... happens when your food is good. Worth the wait, plus they move so quick, especially the young guys running the front. Read more

Wonderful food, great flavors and good customer service. I was in a serious mood for oxtails, hubby wanted curry chicken. Most... Jamaican restaurants near us either closes early or run out of certain items way too soon. Quality Jamaican restaurant is awonderful place to grab some tasty food. My one and only complaint is the portion sizes. If I?d had to guess there was 75% rice,15% meat, and 10% veggies. At a glance it looks like a lot of meat but it?s not. The meat and veggies are on a mountain of rice.I was disappointed because my plate of oxtails cost $20, I expected more meat for the price. Read more

This place is so good. Traditional Jamaican / island flavors and dishes of a variety of curries and jerk. Used to live in the... islands and miss this kind of food. All platters come with 2 sides. The rice and peas and steamed cabbage are sooo good you?llbe speechless the first few bites. The Mac n cheese is legit good. You can only get that as a separate side but it?s worth it.If you go there for the first time there are two locations right next to each other. The left side has mostly seafood dishes, but the lines are always at the place on the right hand side, if you want the jerk or curry or the good sides, go to that door. When you get to the counter, know what you want in advance or the people behind you will understandably be upset. They take cardor cash and the people behind the counter are really nice and helpful. Tip: ask for the curry sauce for your rice or to dip yourchicken in, its free, comes on the side, it?s spicy but very good! Enjoy! Read more

Good Jerk Chicken. I?ve eaten Jerk Chicken all over the city and this is as good as anywhere. Would like it spicier. But most... people don?t so I understand. Dry rub on the chicken sauce on the side just as I like it. Parking can be tough here at time.Whenever I?m near west Philly I stop here. The other items look pretty good as well. For a little over $10 I got a big sizeportion of jerk chicken and some white bread Scotch Bonnet pepper on the table for extra spice Read more
