Wow! Incredible food at a good price. Place is constantly busy, but tables turn quick. The Peking and Hong Kong duck are... terrific. Sang Kee was a delightful lunch experience. The duck bun is worth the hype, non greasy, savory, and aromatic duck meat in a very... lightly doughed wrap. Excited to order more duck renditions from this establishment. Garlic chicken and eggplant delivered intraditional Cantonese elegance, thoroughly cooked eggplant and juicy tender chicken with a hint of black bean. We ordered the Peking duck. The skin was extremely delicious and crispy while the meat was very tender and tasty. The duck was... offered with a choice of buns or pancakes. We also ordered the crispy roasted pig which was alright but also had great crunchskin. As a last dish, we also enjoyed the beef Chow Fun which I thought was the best I have had anywhere. We always make it a point to take friends out here when we come into Philly! Sang-Kee has been here for over 40 years - there... must be a reason why! The food is amazing, the Peking duck is something we always get. Highly recommend to visit this place.This is a great place for small plates, or even big plates. Got the 3 meat combination (duck, soy sauce chicken, and BBQ pork) with rice, once to go and once in person. The food is an... excellent value - the meat was flavorful, although the bbq pork was a little tough. The combo also came with some veggies andrice.
