Great food selection and excellent taste. Dine in is only available on Thursday and weekends and reservation is required. Prices... have been changed in the menu so don’t e surprised if your bill is slightly higher. For takeout call in advance and there’sno waiting area. So plan accordingly. It is an Afghani restaurant located near down town Philadelphia, the atmosphere is good, the food is delicious, but the fact... that you have to pay gratuity despite the fact that the service was terrible this is not accepted at all for me . They addedmore than 20 $ on the invoice as a gratuity without even taking my permission. It is really something annoying. As a customer Iwill never go back again to this restaurant unless they change there gratuity policy . Simply cheating the customer is notacceptable to anyone. Read more

I have been meaning to try out the new location of Sansom Kabob House ever since they relocated from Sansom St to South St. I... am glad to report that the food tastes as delicious as I remembered it. The prices however have increased - partly because theyhave done away with the lunch menu and only offer a single menu. I would recommend their kebabs or the qablee palaw. Read more
The Chablee Kabob was excellent. I really liked how the lamb was cooked. It was really good. The very specific Afghan rice was... also very tasteful, and I did enjoy the salad prior to the main meal. It was not inexpensive but it was worth the experience. Read more
