Noone in line or waiting for their food. Spent twenty five minutes waiting for a burger... And I got someone else's order... somehow? Despite it being a ghost town. A woman walked over to the counter in a panic, her kid having spilled a soda all acrossthe table, dripping onto the floor. She wanted napkins to clean it up. The cashier told her that, no, she's out of luck. "Wecan't afford to just give napkins away." Yeah, it's cheaper than some of the other places in the airport. But they won't treatyou like a human and probably won't actually listen to your order. Beat avoided. Never coming back. (Writing this in 2022,apparently I had a three star experience in 2019. Should have went to Chick-fil-A which is in the same food court. (Look behind you) Terrible food at Smashburger. My order was... wrong. My fries looked old and where tasteless plus Tater Tots where mixed in with it. To me this is an over rated Burger King.20 bucks for burger, fries and drink! People at the counter where nice. Food was decent but not as good as I'd hoped for. Love Smashburger so I was excited to see them in PH and appreciated that they... were open after 8pm. I got a single cheeseburger and fries. The bun and cheese were pretty cold and that really affected theburger temp so keep that in mind. I think it had to do with the slow volume of customers at that hour. Staff was friendly andtalkative which helped the overall experience. I'd go back! Read more
Horrific service. Filed a complaint via their corporate website, only to receive an email from their district manager, David... Henderson. He apologized saying ?this is far below Smashburgers standard? but obviously it?s not looking at these reviews andhow they handled my complaint. Highly recommend avoiding Smashburger as a whole if this is how they treat their customers at thecounter and at the corporate level. Read more
I just wanted to leave a review of Smashburger in Philly airport terminal A, because even though I had to have one of my burgers... fixed, I still enjoyed my visit. The food was very delicious. It was super busy and there was only one cashier at the front. Hewas calm, patient, and kind amiss all the chaos. When I came to him about my burger not being correct, he personally went backand remade it for me. He was doing his best to take care of everyone and I was impressed with his professional manners even whenit was at peak dinner rush. All the crew was doing well considering how busy it was. But I wanted to give a special shout out toJason, thank you for the amazing service! I will eat here again next time I pass through here. Read more
If I could give it a zero I would. I ordered a single cheese bacon burger with everything on it. After I got my order the... burger was cold and it didn't have anything I asked for. I asked the lady at the register about the pickles and onions shecaught a attitude. This how she responded after I gave her the receipt...The guy on the grill was very rude and has no customerservice skills at all. She threw it in my bag and handed me my burger. Way too greasy and a bit salty. Service was good but slow. I ordered egg and cheese sandwich and wouldn't recommend it.
The biggest problem is, there is often a long wait after you order and no way to know how long the wait will be. And when... waiting for a plane that's a bad thing. So I would steer clear and choose one of the other places. Read more
