Just ordered for the first time and OMG why have I not been eating here my whole life. This is real authentic greek food and as... vegetarian it is vet hard to find delicious healthy take out food. My favorite restaurant in Manayunk and perhaps even in Philly! The family that owns it is incredibly sweet, and the food is... wonderful quality for a great price. I'm a vegetarian and I can always find things to eat here, although I most often go for thefalafel pita. Definitely try the lemonades, and get a side of hummus while you're there! Read more
I am super disappointed in my first experience here. I was so excited for a local Greek salad, and the pictures looked amazing,... but this is a total let down. There was no feta cheese on the salad, no olives on it, very overpriced for what I got (seepictured, this cost $11.79 plus taxes and fees). I called them to inquire about my order, maybe I was sent the wrong salad, butI went through to voicemail. I left a message with my name, number, and inquiry, but I never heard back. They live up to their name! When I walked in I smiled and said hello and was greeted with the warmest, ?thank you for smiling at... smileys!? They also gave us an extra smoothie for free. Amazing customer service and very friendly ppl! I ordered the beef gyro platter that came with a salad, and hummus. I also had a... side of falafel with the Orange Passion smoothie. The gyro was flavorful and came in a thin and crispy pita. It was veryflavorful yet it wasn?t heavy on me. The falafel came with a salad and was also flavorful. The smoothie wasn?t overwhelmingsweet and tasty. Everything was fresh and you can tell it was homemade. I can?t wait to come back! Read more
