My friend and I were waiting for her drink for 20 minutes. Every time we went up to someone to ask them about our drink they... said they were making it now but we still had to wait 20 minutes for one drink. The other customers kept coming in and gettingtheir drinks while the workers made us wait. When they finally gave my friend her drink it was the WRONG DRINK. Big store not enough people working. They were very busy but the service was slow due to the lack of stuff.
~There's something magical that keeps me always coming back to this Starbucks, whether it be the relaxing atmosphere or... excellent customer service(for the most part). It seems one can always grab a coffee, take a seat, & stare off into the streetsof Philly or buckle down into some work on a laptop. I usually order the Nariño 70 Cold Brew, which is handcrafted in smallbatches daily, slow-steeped in cool water for 20 hours, without touching heat. If you're a "coffeesseur" you will definitely beable to taste the difference comparable to a regular iced coffee. One day i was feeling a little under the weather & decided totry out the Green Tea Crème Frappuccino which is blended with sweetened premium matcha green tea, milk & ice powder in order togive a boost to my immune system. Unfortunately the "barista" goofed up on the first drink, but went above & beyond to redeemherself by giving a 4$ gift card & the extra drink. I was on cloud 9! Unfortunately, once again, I went back to use the 4$ giftcard for a cold brew, & a different "barista" made the drink absolutely horrid..hopefully this does not become a habit, as Iwill have to find another coffee spot. I really never try to write bad reviews unless I feel super compelled to, but this morning was awful. I placed an online order... for a latte and a muffin. When I got there, I was a bit early so I waited a bit before going to the barista to tell her my namefor the order. I went to the barista and told her my name and she hands me my drink and says the other item is still beingworked on. I wait about 15 more minutes - meanwhile, there are orders coming out that I had a feeling ordered after I had, andI'm thinking I only got a warmed muffin so it shouldn't be taking so long. I was giving the workers grace and trying not bepushy as I could see they were busy, but eventually I went back up and asked for an update on my order. The barista looks at thetable, picks up a muffin that had been sitting there since I originally got in, and hands it to me. We both know this muffin hasbeen sitting there this whole time, but I received no apology or even acknowledgement about it. Also, I was waiting next toanother girl and the barista just wasn't calling out her name even though her drink was ready and had been ready for a while. Idon't think you should be putting someone at the table in the front to hand out the orders unless they can handle it. I won't becoming back to this Starbucks for a while. Read more
