I've been in the hospital for 10 days with my wife. University of Penn. She had a major surgery. It's Sunday. One of the only... places open for food is Starbucks in the founders building. I order Oatmeal. The girl (black and red hair) can't find it but issuper nice and asks her associate for help. The associate (black hair) comes to help. She seems annoyed. I thank her. Sheignores me. When she brings it out to me, I thank her again. She ignores me again. Each time i spoke we were less than 2 feetaway from each other. Then when she called for the rest of my order I didn't even realize it because she spoke so low. MeanwhileI could hear her clearly while she was taking people orders. Seems like she deliberately spoke low. Why? Be a better person.Don't be rude. I have a major life changing event happening for me. I could use a little grace. Went to order my drink today. Asked for light ice. The lady making it turned around and rolled her eyes, started complaining... under her breath and gives me a dirty look. Then drops the cup on her side of the counter for me to reach. I?ve been workingsince 3am, last thing I needed was this. Starbucks you need to fix this? Read more

The most unprofessional and rudest employees I?ve even interacted with. They are constantly on their phones when customers are... trying to place orders. They are always out of espresso. My last encounter there they gave me the wrong drink. I politelysaid, ? I?m sorry this was supposed to be..? and told them the correct drink, the barista had her back turned to me, refused tolook at me to address the issue and just shook her head. I looked at the cup and she wrote the correct drink on there and justmade it wrong. This is just one of the many poor encounters I?ve had with this staff. I refuse to revisit this location andadvise they make some employee corrections. This is not just an ordinary coffee shop, they are service family members of sickpatients and the people working tireless to take care of patients. They should show some compassion and respect for others. Read more
For some reason this is the only Starbucks in Philadelphia in which they do not follow the slogan to ask the barista to make... your drink as you wish . They also have an employee which is rude and totally mean . Like I?m not sure how they got employedmean . It?s so bad I actually stopped going to this Starbucks because of said employee . I prefer to cross the St just to getkinder service and my drink they way I ALWAYS get it at every other Starbucks . Read more

Waited 15 minutes for my Frappuccino at a time when the store wasn?t that busy and 5 people were working. As the corp has grown,... along with the stock price, the customer experience seems to deteriorate more and more. It used to be a goto place that I lookedfwd to visiting.
