Accepts CASH ONLY! Ordered a cheese steak sandwich. Even with extra meat the sandwich was super thin. The cheese was... liquified... You order the sandwich thru one window and if you want any other items like fries or drinks you have to order thruanother window and pay separately. Annoying! The sandwich didn't taste bad but it certainly wasn't the best. Even Jersey Mike'sPhilly cheese is better. Read more

First time checking Steve's out and it was fantastic. Doesn't have the glitz or glamor of Geno's or Pat's which is great.... Classic cheesesteak wit peppers, onions, mushrooms and provolone will do you perfect. Cash only, if you're an out of townerchoose this over the tourist spots. Steve is the prince baby!! Read more
My chicken cheesesteak was very good. Bread was delicious. It was missing something...not sure what, but it lacked some... flavour. Same for the steak one that my husband hand. Giving it a 4 because their fries are excellent, both plain and cheesefries. Read more

I hate leaving negative reviews but I am trying to help anyone looking for honesty about where to eat. I will keep it short. I... will come back and re-evaluate at some point but this trip was not good. - It took 45 minutes for 3 steaks and only 4 people inline ahead of me. - The fries are a separate cook so my fries with whiz were cold and mushy by the time I got the steaks. - Thiswas not a staffing issue, there were 5 people working. - 2 grill cooks and they were working ticket to ticket. Didn't put themeat on the grill for one order until the entire last order was complete. - Not a cheap steak, and not a ton of meat. I am achef of 20 years. A 20 minute drive from downtown Philly, but worth every second of it. Roll perfectly toasted, crispy but soft, juicy meat,... flavorful cheese and a great acidic contrast with the sweet peppers. Best cheesesteak I can remember! Very fast service too. Read more
