Rude encounter with manger of restaurant! Had an 8:45 reservation my friend went to the door and was told she needed to wait... until I arrived. 10 mins later I get to the door and the host had given away our table and asked us to sit at the bar which wasfine. Only to see we would be sitting cramped onto the corner of the bar, the host pulled a stool up for us. 30 minutes later aManger came up yelling at us ever aggressively that we can’t block the entrance of the bar. I said excuse me your host told usto sit here. The man sitting next to us had to yell at the manger and defend us. The stranger next to us was shocked because hesaw us get seated here and the manger was so aggressive to two women. If the manger would have approached us nicely like to moveover even tho there was no possible room would have been appreciated. I had to move so close to a stranger his whole bodytouching mine. Other then that the bartender was nice and he didn’t tell us to move when we were sitting there so I don’tknow why the manger was on such a power trip that night. Food was good but I’d never go back. Food is tasty but if you are looking for Mexican food or margaritas I would recommend elsewhere. Server did not tell us the... price of the margarita pitchers and we were surprised they were extremely expensive (and not very strong). Also beware tip isautomatically added to the bill AND they tack on a "Service charge". Read more
Wish I would've taken a picture to post the fun we had here. We visited Sueño for Sunday Latin night and had a great time in... this friendly atmosphere, the ambiance with the music was marvelous. It was very entertaining to watch the dancers dance salsa.The drinks were very good and food was okay, we shared a guacamole with chips and a flan for dessert. Not to say the least aboutthe top of the notch service we received from ANESSA, she was truly on point with us so make sure you ask for her. She's themain reason why I am rating it 5?????????? Never have seen this much tax added onto a bill with gratuity added to a group of four. The waitress took thirty minutes to not... only take our order but 30 minutes to get our check. If you’re gonna scam make sure the service is up to par other wise peopleare gonna take a double take on the check and do math. Glad I looked at the reviews and see this isn’t the only person thishas happened to. Sad. Read more
I’ve been eating out for the last 2 years and I’ve been all over the city. Probably one of top 3 places for happy hour. Only... 5$ happy hour food and great portions. Mojitos were strong, great taste and only 7$ happy hour. Our server Anessa wasoutstanding, charming and amazing. 5/5. Will definitely get back and try dinner menu. Read more
Overall a really great experience. We are outside and they have heating. It was a little cold but manageable. The food was... awesome! I've been waiting to come here for a while and it was worth it. A little on the pricier side ($300+ for about 7 people)we got 1 app, and 7 main courses, 1 pitcher of margarita, and dessert. The mole was a bit spicy but very authentic. The flavoron the good was really good. Portions are worth the money, the quality of great and fresh. Guacamole was plentiful, only thing Iwould add is more lime and cilantro. But we had guac left over which is always a plus. Drinks were strong and tasty. Andeverything came out pretty. Quickly. Emily and the serving team were amazing! The food was amazing, I loved my waitress until she stole an extra $100 off of my card on top of the gratuity that was on the... bill. The fact that the manager came out and had me sign the correct receipt, she still charged my card $100. Unfortunatelythere was a crazy guy who kept sneezing, coughing, spitting at and around our table. He kept reaching in his pants as if he wasready to pull a gun out on us, but instead grabbed tissue and was throwing it at people walking by and throwing tissues near ourtables. Wow! I’m so impressed. Came here for dinner and it looks a little like a club. However, the food was amazing, drinks were... whimsical, the service was impeccable. Highly recommend. Right when we walked in the door, manager CJ was right there to help.If you are not sure, give it a chance. Promise, you won’t regret it. Read more
