Was really looking forward to lunch here after the raving reviews. Not an authentic spot, so do not expect bold flavors when... dining. Salsa and chips were below average. We ordered the BBQ shrimp tacos and the carnitas tacos. Shrimp was cooked well butnothing else about the taco was appetizing, could only eat one taco. Great, authentic tasting food. Came to meet with some friends and we were able to quickly get a table outside on a Friday night.... The blood orange margaritas are delicious. The “fact” guac with corn and bacon was worth licking the bowl. Had the steaktacos which were delicious. Would recommend and come back! Locals also take out often for a great meal. Read more
This was such a fun atmosphere. We went on Tuesday night, which they have $2 off tacos and enchiladas. The kitchen closes at... 9pm, so get your food order in. The flavor of the foods were good and they were very accommodating for picky eaters. This place was really good ! Very festive ! If you need a good place to go for a date night or girls outing this is the place.... The food is 7/10. I’ll be honest I went for the environment mostly. I did go with an open mind on the food willingly knowingthat it’s not really authentic Mexican food. But it was still enjoyable. Excellent food and service. Strict mask policy which I REALLY appreciate. Love the fire poles. Makes is much easier to eat... outside and lessen the risk of COVID transmission. Awesome hot chocolate, addictive tortillas and great salsas without beingoverly spicy. Will definitely come back! Read more
Love Taqueria Amor! Great, fun and upbeat atmosphere with delicious food, really valuable part of Main Street Manayunk. Daily... specials and fun drinks. Friendly service. Outdoor seating booths are quite cozy. Shrimp tacos were great and can’t go wrongwith classic street corn. Read more
I’ve been to Taqueria Amor 10+ times now, and at all different times of day. My first time dining with them was during Happy... Hour, and I was impressed. Their specials were : $2.50 off all house margs and sangria, $2.00 off beer and tacos, and $3 off allguacamole! I ordered their seafood guacamole, and it was phenomenal!!!! I washed it down with two margaritas, one served and onthe rocks and the other frozen. The drinks were tasty and the food was delicious, enough to entice me to come back again, andagain!! I’ve since returned to Taqueria Amor multiple times. Their food is always delicious, the service is always great, andtheir drinks strong and delicious. My favorite margarita flavors are their house and the blood orange. They’re always veryaccommodating, and if requested, they’ll leave flavors on the side for you to pour in yourself. Some of my menufavorites: -Fajitas!!! They come out piping hot and are wonderful! They’re pricey but absolutely enough for two, or eventhree, to share!!! -Seafood Enchiladas!! OMG! They’re soooo delicious! Perfectly cooked, fresh seafood, and the Poblana saucethey serve with it is off the hook! - TACOS! I’ve tried all of the tacos on the menu except their Korean BBQ Broccoli. Myfavorite are absolutely the grilled Mahi, with two close runners: chipotle steak and brisket!! You can’t go wrong with any,though. I could go on and on, but their happy hour and daily specials alone are a reason to check them out ! All of their fooditems are tasty and there’s something for everyone !
