Perfect place to stop and get good food when in this area of Philly. Stopped here before a show at the Theater of Living Arts... and was blown away by the food. We looked up cheap food near the venue and searched for the one with the best ratings. I willdefinitely go back if I'm in the area. Tons of beer that my buddy liked, the food was good and came out pretty quick. Twodrinks, an appetizer, and two dinners was around $50 so if you don't drink it would have been a out $35 to 40. We were in town for 3 weeks for work and we ate here just about every single day, sometimes twice a day. Extremely underrated... place. Excellent food. The prices are really inexpensive for the quality of food that you receive. Standard American food, butwith gluten-free and vegan options and all very well done. Wings in particular with the dry rub, sauces on the side, was one ofour favorites. Also the steak, fried chicken sandwich, and their tacos were all excellent. Desserts too - homemade ice creamand fried cheesecake. We will be back regularly every time we are in town. Can’t go wrong here. Read more

We had Seth c at 10.38 pm on a Thursday night, I'd figure I'd try it out. Very unwelcoming, we were celebrating a day of moving... in together . And honestly it was one of the worst experiences I've had. I live near by and this will be the last. Thank youSeth for showing me what a cool place could be like. The space it’s self is pretty cool. Not a fan of the download your own menu. It was pretty empty when we got there and the... service was slow but decent. The food was a average price for downtown but I suspect it’s much more of a beer place which IDIDNT have and can’t talk about. The steak was decent but a little small and stringy. The assorted vegetables were very scarceand not fully cooked. The real winner of my plate was surprisingly the Yuca fries which are the BEST I have ever had. Growing upin Puerto Rico I was taken immediately back home. They were light, crispy and not to salty and I would order a couple servingsfor take out even. Truly delicious. I got lots of love for this place! I've known the owners for years, and actually worked at the old location for a good stretch.... Food is on point, the chef is an interesting cat who knows his stuff. I had a blast with Mark and Mike and the buddies I broughtwith me. Go give them a hollar and tell them Philly Phil sent you.
