Look no further- this is the BEST Indian food in South Philly, possibly all of Philly!! We ordered the Tikka, Korma, and Kahari... and all of them exceeded our expectations. GREAT quality meat and sauces and great portion! Will order time and time again. Read more

One of the better Indian cuisine places in Philly! The owner/manager recommended a lamb based dish and it was delightful. ... Would definitely order again. Read more

This place is a gem..... It's set in a beautiful neighborhood with an amazing view of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree (... if you sit by the window). The service is top notch and the food is something too be desired. Everything is made to order andall ingredients are very fresh from the proteins to the veggies right down to the very sauces that are made. We left happy, full, and amazed at how we were treated and how beautiful the restaurant was. We've found our new go to place for Indian food. Ihighly recommend this place if your looking for great service, amazing food, and beautiful ambiance. You will not bedisappointed ???????? Read more

Sometime first impression so pathetic, its actually the last. We ordered Gobi Manchurian and Chilli Paneer for dinner. What we... got was gobi pakoras and paneer pakoras dunked in Ketchup. The pictures clearly show the chickpea flour around the paneer andand gobi. If the restaurant cared to google the recipe, they’d know its coated in simple flour mixed with corn flour and notchick pea flour, thats a bloody pakora. Also, the sauce is not ketchup, its puree and soy and a few other things. They might bedoing gravies well but the should really consider removing asian items or get a better chef who can at least google. Stick towhat you guys do well, or you’ll keep disappointing customers! Read more

Great food, big menu, friendly staff! Plenty of different meats to choose from (goat, lamb, chicken, beef, etc). A thing that... sets this Indian restaurant apart from others is that each dish comes with a unique sauce that completely changes the flavor ofthe dish. Everything we ordered was very well seasoned and delicious! Highly recommend the lamb =D Read more

Ordered paneer tikka masala off caviar. Specifically requested spicy. The meal I received was neon orange (different color than... usual for my favorite meal from Indian restaurants) and was sweet. It was extremely creamy and not at all what I’d call spicy. It was edible and tasted fine but not what I requested. Was disappointed. Read more

We just finished dinner here and it was excellent! The naan was so fluffy- the best I’ve ever had. Lamb Korma- yum!! The staff... was very kind- we were a larger party asking for a lot of things and they happily accommodated. This restaurant has seen a fewdifferent iterations in the past few years; here’s hoping Palace of Indian stays! -Also, see pics for the gorgeous outdoordining area that’s out back. Read more
