I lived nearby years ago, and haven't been back in a while, but it's gone downhill. Both pieces of bread had an off taste, and... the garlic piece was almost undistinguishable from the plain. I got my korma mild, and though it was correctly non-spicy, italso was pretty lacking in flavor. The other curry, rice, chutneys and app were at least okay, but for something this expensiveI'd like the food to be better. Also as an fyi, it looks like the place is set up for almost exclusively take-out/delivery nowinstead of having much seating available. Read more

I?ve been a loyal customer for the past few years, The Tiffin has never failed to satisfy my need for delicious Indian food,... they?ve always been consistent with their quality and quantity. I recommend using their own website to order food as the priceson other third party food delivery apps are way too high. Give them a try I?m pretty sure you won?t be disappointed, lastlydon?t forget to try their desserts. Read more

What a disappointment! I moved to Mt Airy in 2011 and this was always my go to spot the last few times I?ve ordered it wasn?t... that good. But yesterday was my last and final time ever ordering from Tiffin. The food was disgusting butter chicken waswatery, samosas fried way too hard and inedible. The mango drink was ok but the quality of the food has definitely declined. Sadto no longer patronize this place. But I found another place called New Era Indian, food is fresh and very tasty. The food is superb, absolutely delicious. Definitely try the Samosas with the Tamarind chutney! Everything we got was great, but... the delivery wasn't as pleasant as I would have liked. We went back and forth about if it was my order because of the address. She went on to tell me I still needed to pay before she would give me the food, though I was already holding my payment out toher..and when I told her how much I gave her and she counted it out to be sure, she said she didn't have change with a bit of anattitude before I pointed out it was meant to be a tip. I'll pick up next time. Read more

I am not one to write reviews but my experience with the quality of food from this restaurant is unacceptable! I ordered... tandoori chicken and it was stale, dried out and smelled burnt. I have never in my life tasted tandoori chicken this bad. Itdidn?t have any of the seasoning. It looked like dried baked chicken and to think they charge $20 for this! I will never orderfrom here again. If I could give them zero stars I would. One star is far too generous. This place is totally overrated andoverpriced. Go somewhere else! Read more

I'm not sure what was in the mixed pickle appetizer, but pieces of it were inedible and it was extremely spicy. Ordered Uber... delivery and my dishes were each labeled which made it seem like the food was taken off the shelf and heated up. Soggy saag, andsamosa insides were a dull grey color. Read more
