this is the 3rd time that we have problems with our order. 1st time they forgot 1 lunch, the 2nd time it was the wrong order,... and today Erika did not let us check the order because they had already checked it twice, when we start unpacked there were 2orders of rice missing, and ribs were overcooked almost burn, the potatoes were burned as well. We called make the complaint andErika said that the didn't have anyone to bring what was missing. We requested a reimbursement and they said that we can goand pick up $4.00 dollars tomorrow at 12pm with the manager. what a disappointment :( Make sure that when you order somethingfrom there to check everything yourself..... It had been almost 20 years since our last visit to Tio Pepe's, and last night did not disappoint. Let's start with the friendly... service of the wait staff. Erica was phenomenal. She didn't miss a beat! Our drinks? Their sangria was the perfect degree ofsweetness. And our food? From a super-fresh "Salada Mista" to "Carne De Porco a Alentejana" to "Paelha Marinheira," everythingwas scrumptious! Oh, I almost forgot dessert. The food was EXCELLENT!!!! The staff was extremely polite and nice ... The owner even came over to the table and asked how... everything was. Although the parking was a little difficult, the food more than made up for it. Give it a try ... You won't bedisappointed! Trust me! Read more
Came to Tío Pepe to celebrate our anniversary. I love their trilingual service(English, Spanish and Portuguese). The ambience... is just adorable, makes you feel you're actually in Portugal with their beautiful lampposts on the middle of the room, it's kindof romantic if you go on a date like we did, but it's also so family friendly as well. Now let's talk food. I ordered grilledsalmon with tostones (double fried green plantains) and salad. Salmon was grilled to perfection and moist, tostones were freshand super crunchy. My husband got a humongous size T-bone steak with steamed vegetables. Steak was juicy, with the right amountof fat and super tender. My husband had the expresso coffee with milk, he stated it was heavenly and tasted even better thanStarbucks (he loves Starbucks) The restaurant does encourage their customers to make a reservation ahead of time to avoidagglomeration. Food is average, expensive and the service rarely attends to you (due to the default charge of 10% tip) bathrooms are extremely... dirty because in the first floor there is a bar full of drunk people. The only reason as to why I gave 3 stars was because ofwhat I ordered. Read more
