We only stopped by here for some snacks and using the restrooms. Lots of people park here to hike on the valley but weekends can... be very hard to find spots and getting out could be quite crowded. The restaurant looks very nice and I am sure you would enjoydining here with views of the running river. Read more

My husband and I received a recommendation to go here for dinner while visiting Philadelphia. The food was absolutely delicious!... It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. We loved the atmosphere and the ambiance of the inn. It was quiet andfull of charm. The staff were polite and a joy to work with. I would definitely recommend them and we will most likely be backnext time we are in the area. Read more
A cozy old inn in the heart of the Wissahickon. I recommend following up a hike with lunch or dinner. Food is good, nothing to... write home about but drinks were reasonable and the experience is good. The staff wasn’t entirely sure about gluten in thedish but did her best. I rarely order fries so this was a treat that left me disappointed. Perhaps the cook had an off night butI cut them some slack after the pandemic. We’ll be back because the location can’t be beat. Stop and eat here. The food is delicious. The staff is very friendly. A beautiful interior and lovely exterior. It’s a... win/win. My husband got the salmon and I the french roasted chicken. (I substituted the brussels sprouts for green beans). Wecleared our plates and have not stopped about wanting to go back and take family & friends so they can have the same wonderfulexperience! What a fantastic place. Beautiful colonial style building with fancy dining. Our server Eric was extremely knowledgeable and... efficient during our visit. The Star of our dinner was the app we ordered of Filet Mignon eggrolls. Homemade juicy anddelicious. I had a fantastic braised short ribs entree that absolutely melted in my mouth. My wife ordered the stuffed Salmonwith real Crab Meat. The food was all good and prepared fresh to order. Truffle fries were perfect as was the Tira Misu dessertI had.
