The cuisine's quality is exceptional in every way, including its taste, appearance, dexterity with which it was prepared, and... the freshness of the ingredients used. A warm and inviting space with comfortable seating where people can gather to eat,recharge their batteries, make new professional and personal connections, and maintain existing ties. Because the meal that thechef had prepared for us was so extraordinary, it is difficult to adequately express how excited we were when we tried a bite ofone of the dishes that he had prepared for us. As a result, it's difficult to put into words how excited we were. It is highlyrecommended that if you want to have a dining experience unlike any other, you make a reservation at this restaurant rather thangoing somewhere else, because it provides you with the opportunity to do so. The staff was extremely grateful the entire time,and they made everyone feel very welcome. When the overall high quality of the product is considered, the prices appear to befair and reasonable. My birthday is in November, and I'm planning a party here to celebrate. I'm going to invite a few of myclose friends so I can brag about how fantastic the restaurant is. I've eaten here several times, and keep hoping it will improve. Prices are high and food does not measure up. The entree I... received was not as described in the menu, and my server seemed to keep disappearing despite the small size of the venue. Disappointing, since it is so convenient to eat here before Phila Orchestra concerts. I doubt I'll eat here again. Read more
Went for CCD Restaurant Week and had a great time! The ambience is excellent, our server (I don’t remember her name, but she... had a Velvet Underground banana tattoo) was excellent, and food was great! Our cocktails were extremely well-crafted andcreative, using classic ingredients in new ways. Along with the branzino, bratattas and salad, we had the strawberry butterbiscuits from their resident chef Big Rube. I love the idea of bringing in new chefs to revamp the menu. It makes me think thefood there would never get old! I was shocked there were so few people in the restaurant. Their small plates outside ofrestaurant week are reasonably priced, and the location seems great for happy hours or swanky date nights. I will be back! Read more

The appetizers were really good! Our dinner left much to be desired. My husband got the crispy chicken with mash potatoes and it... was drowned in gravy. The bowl it was served in was also not ideal for eating. I got the trout dish and it left a lot to bedesired. The atmosphere is intimate and very nicely decorated. This is my new favorite restaurant in Philadelphia. I was so excited to eat there because I am Portuguese and I haven't had good... Portuguese food since moving to Southern New Jersey. Half the menu was Portuguese, the other half was created by a visiting chefand was Filipino in styling. The food was absolutely incredible. The flavors were rich. The kale soup and potato dish were twoof my favorites. We actually have reservations to go here two more times before the end of the year. It's quieter than expectedin a lot of restaurants. The drinks were delicious. The staff was kind. I have certain GI issues which preclude me from eatinganything that I can't digest, like nuts and seeds, and they were more than willing to make omissions to the menu for me.
