Disappointment cannot begin to sum up my feelings when I opened my delivery package of the big chicken platter via chowbus. For... a price tag of $26 dollars you will see that there are an inordinate amount of large potatoes chunks. Definitely more potatoesthan chicken. There are also only 2 pieces of green pepper. And only a scant bit of sauce. Having had the big chicken plattervia dine in quite a while back (when it was only $17) , I was expecting a lot of sauce to coat the thick noodles, and a balanceof potatoes to chicken to veg. Sadly all that is missing. Definitely not worth the money at all. Read more
I had a great time here, the staff was very helpful and happy. The food was amazing I had 3 items and was very impressed. They... even tell you a bit of history of some of the menu items and how they prepare them. Not much wait time for food and waiter checkon me in a good timely manner. The only reason I was not completely happy was that there did not have a couple items from themenu and I was not notified of this before. Everything else was outstanding. Read more
Food is pretty good; I've been back twice. Can't beat the price either. Also they are accommodating to vegetarians!
After torturing myself with memories of getting authentic Xian cuisine while living and working around Asia, I simply had to... find a place to get this style of food and not worry that they were going easy on the spice. This place is it! I highly suggestthe Dan Dan noodles and the Chinese cumin hamburgers. All the dishes pack a Szechuan punch and the place envelops you in therich smell of cumin and other earthy, herby scents the minute you walk in. $15 minimum on cards. The ladies serving are supernice. Hot chilli oil and Chinese vinegar on every table. Not a bad place to stop in for a bite if you happen to be in PhillyChinatown. Read more
I loved this place! I went there with a friend, who is actually Chinese, she said the preparation style is very authentic, which... I could feel by the fact it differs a lot from what you get at a number of 'Chinese' places which in fact offer adopted andrevised dishes. Most of guests were asian too. That aside, I was hit by the nessesity to choose, because the menu was abundantwith attractive dishes and I wanted to try it all. It had plenty of vegetarian options, some pretty helthy choices. The amountswere generous enough, but not like horse-size, and the prices were very modest. I will definitely return. Read more
Chef is from Xi'an. Owner is from xi'an. Noodles are better than Xi'an Famous Foods. I don't really need to say any more. ????
