Appetizer and entree were excellent. Desserts not so much. They were frozen still had ice in our cakes. Could be a quiet cozy... place to eat unfortunately we were sat next to a group of loud women. We could not hear each other. Staff seemed like maybe theyhad enough of them also because they were ok but not very friendly. Like we caught them at the end of a long day but we all hadthose days. My husband and I wanted to celebrate our son's belated birthday and decided to go to Zaccone's Restaurant. My husband and I went... previously. This is a quaint, beautiful, family style restaurant with a warm home atmosphere. Tony and Maria are wonderful! Theladies that waited on us were also spectacular. I had the lobster ravioli which was so delicious! We had the bruchetta with anamazing Italian olive oil that made me smile. and had limonchello cake and expresso coffee. Wish I took a pic of all the food,, but I?m old and I eat and then tell you about it.. The chicken Marsala was amazing, the... portion was perfect, the taste was amazing, service was great everything hot that was supposed to be and cool if it was meant tobe.. The bruschetta was amazing best I had and I go everywhere and yes it?s the best I?ve tasted so far, the soup perfect? thebread was great the butter was lil hard but held in hands a lil and it became soft.. Bring cash it?s a cash only event? Theprice was great and for the amount I ate I say under priced, the espresso was soo good that I did laps around therestaurant? You can bring your own wine .. and they have daily specials for you that like bargains.. first time here and I willcome again to try something different off the menu which has lots to pick from .. Very first time going. First thought was it?s very small and tables are small and cramped. Good thing is when we went it wasn?t... crowded at all. Started of with a vegetable soup best I?ve ever had it was fresh silky and flavorful and not overwhelming.Ordered chicken Parmesan it was definitely freshly made it was very good the pasta was outstanding in every way imaginable.Prices are great. Its a warm cozy family run Italian restaurant. Everyone is always pleasant. Great meals at a good price. I have been eating here... a few times a year for a decade and never had a bad meal or poor service. I am always amazed that it not more crowded. Its ahidden gem of mayfair. Read more
This cozy hidden gem is a family owned and operated Italian cuisine delight. It's a BYOB so at least you're not getting beat up... for overcharged drinks. The servings sizes were just right for one person. The taste was delicious. I had the Saltambucca. Itwas seasoned just right, the meat, tender. All the food that was brought out looked incredible and no one in my party of eighthad a complaint about any of it. I got to the dinner almost an hour late so I can't speak for the time before i arrived. Theservice was very personal. They treated us well, and were very friendly. They checked on us frequently and made sure everythingwas to our liking. I will definitely return. It's a great spot for a large family dinner or a date night. Read more
