Amazing place ! The owners are wonderful ! The food was delicious . I totally recommend this place .
Just moved to the area and had a great time chatting with Holly and her guests.
We ate at the restaurant and the hostess/waitress was the best. We were in Bayfield.2 days earlier and the 2 girls there that... had the same job/responsibilities couldn't hold a candle to the one at Birch Island even though they were half her age. Best fish fry I've had in a long time! Come hungry. Come happy. Huge plates so don't worry about portions or how many peices of... fish you will receive. Very inexpensive as well for the portion size. Busy place on a Friday night and understaffed (isn'teveryone these days) so sit down at the bar, have a cocktail, and enjoy the Northwoods. Read more
