Low prices and good food. Beware of the Monster Burrito. Unless that you have an XL stomach, you will barely get to eat the half... of it. Basically to it is a family burrito. Excellent service! Our waiter was fast, professional and friendly. Not a single complaint. The food was fresh and delicious and... served piping hot. So hot you might need to let it cool so you don't burn your tongue. The fried cheesecake was especiallyamazing! It's a must try dish,oh so tasty. The restaurant was clean and lighting was perfect. We have been looking forward to coming here for months and were finally able to make it. They did not disappoint! Food was hot... and fresh. Came out quickly. Shredded beef was DELICIOUS! I just couldn't wait for you to open!! The one thing I missed the most when I moved here from Chicago over 20 years ago, was the... Spanish food that I grew up eating. Your menu is a wonderful assortment of delectable choices. I picked my good old standby ofCarne Asada. Yum! Yum! So tender I could cut it with a butter knife and had such good flavor. The avocado I ordered on the sidewas perfectly ripe and tasty and perfectly complimented my Carne Asada. My husband ordered the Queso Fundido Dinner and theflavors were exquisite!! He thoroughly enjoyed it!! The staff were all friendly and service was great and I enjoyed listening tothe Spanish music playing. One of the waiters was even singing along. My Mom was so disappointed we came without her, so Ipromised we'd be going back soon!! I'm hoping my return visit is even better than my first!! Thank you so much for coming to theNorthwoods!! We were excited to try this newer restaurant as we've been coming to Phillips for years and missed the Crystal Cafe. Inside... decor was nicely done and money was definitely spent on the tables and booths. Server greeted us and there was only one othercouple in the restaurant. Server asked if we wanted anything to drink and i didn't even have a chance to open the menu. Iwould say server was average at best. He did bring chips and salsa, but never asked us if we wanted more salsa. Again. it was avery slow night. I only had a couple minutes with the menu and he came over and hovered by our table as if I should hurry up. I didn't like the feeling. My guest also noticed it. I just decided to get a burrito because the server seemed to want to keepthe show moving. Both our dishes tasted good, but we both commented the food was lukewarm. How can food not be hot when itcomes out and they're not busy? I'm on the fence if I go back or not. Probably not. Wanted to like this place more, but roomfor improvement. Read more
