My husband and I enjoyed our 2 nights stay. We stayed at the lighthouse and it?s absolutely beautiful, the rooms were very nice... and clean. The view was great and the top of the lighthouse is my favorite. It?s a big space to hang out with family andfriends. We are definitely coming back Read more

I?m not even sure where to start.. we attended a wedding here and thought it would be a nice place to spend the night. It was... $300 for one night, so we expected the accommodations to be top notch. Upon arrival, there was no clear place to park for the?main lodge? so we had to park far away and hoof our bags over. On our way into the building it was clear that it was indisrepair. It smelled like mold and dirty feet, and the wire mold was falling off the ceiling and dangling off the sprinklerpiping (a clear safety violation, photo attached) Once checked in we went out to try and locate the wedding and there wasabsolutely no signage anywhere, and the staff was utterly useless. After the ceremony, the staff was still setting up cocktailhour when the guests arrived, and there was no clear understanding of where to go or what guests could or couldn?t have accesstoo. I hoped that the saving Grace would be that the food was excellent, but it was quite literally the worst wedding food I?veever eaten, and I?ve been to hundreds of weddings. After the wedding we retired to over run down overpriced room, only to findthat the bed may have been the first bed in history. It was so old, the mattress sunk towards the middle, and something musthave been broken because when we laid on it our feet were more elevated than our heads. I didn?t dare look. While the locationof this place is absolutely beautiful, and the grounds were also quite pretty, there is absolutely no reason to spend the nighthere, I?ve stayed in a motel 6 for $75 that was cleaner and nicer Read more

We booked our 20 year anniversary get away in February when the previous owners were still there. When I found out ownership had... changed I decided to call to make sure our Lobster romance package was still valid. After about 3 weeks of phone tag andnumerous emails and voice messages, we were assured it would be honored. My husband paid hundreds extra to have champagne andflowers in the room waiting when we arrived and a Lobster dinner. Once we arrived we were told our lighthouse room (with thechampagne and flowers) had accidentally been given to someone else! They tried to offer us a cottage. We really wanted alighthouse room and somehow they got us one. About 20 minutes after I settled in to the room someone brought a bottle of cheapchampagne up. About an hour later someone left a bouquet of flowers in the room with the $25 price tag on it while we were out. They honored our Lobster dinner with a note written on the back of a business card to call the front desk if the wait staff hadquestions. It was a huge disappointment. They were nice enough about the mistakes, but it put a huge damper on everything. Theystill charged us full price (I believe we paid over 400 extra for the package) for what amounted to maybe $90 worth of flowers, food and drink with a bogus delivery. Also, Saturday night the restaurant was closed due to staffing so we had to drive to townfor food. That's not a huge deal, but the closest town to eat is in Bath. We had had a long day out and when we came back (fromnear bath) we were planning to eat at the restaurant only to learn we had to drive back to bath for food. We had a great timewhile there despite everything. The scenery is beautiful and there is a lot to do on the resort. Read more

A really beautiful spot with probably the best staff there is. It?s truly in the middle of nowhere and it?s stunning. There?s a... lot of built in activities each day: like a sunset boat ride or kayaking. This is the perfect spot for families with kids sincethere?s space and activities to keep them entertained and enjoying their summertime freedom. There?s a few on locationrestaurants, there isn?t a huge amount of options for vegetarians but that?s totally cool and to be expected. Would definitelyvisit again Read more

We first visited Sebasco 30 years ago with our 3 children and loved it. This visit was the third one in more recent years for... my youngest daughter, her child and her 2 dogs. This year, our whole family returned ? our 3 grown children, their 3 children, myself and my dog. We loved everything,, such a wonderful family resort. Wish you had left the original larger pool, but weenjoyed our cottages, scenic boat cruise, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, clam bake, camp fire, s?mores, sing-a-long, thebeautiful setting and the very friendly, helpful staff. And of course, Fred. Read more

I think this resort use to be fabulous. We stayed at a time when management changed. Upon arrival at 4pm, our room was not ready... even though I called and they said it was. it was finally ready at 5pm 2 hrs later with no apologies. We asked about restaurantsreservations and told do not need them. Went to dinner at 7pm and were told they could not seat anymore people and they werebooked until closing. There is one restaurant near by and beyond grateful they were open as well as best lobster we ever had. Wefelt sorry for the staff, they were working hard. you can feel their stress! We over heard a few staff members about being overworked. Management never returned my phone calls. I hate to complain due to the hardworking staff, but the management should beashamed. for what you pay to stay there, I would make sure its up and running like it should. Read more

I find myself torn between 3 and 4 stars. So I'll start with the pros, then hit the cons. Pros: Hannah (SP?) in the coffee... shop. Just say please and thank you and you'll get amazing service. Servers in the restaurant were great and friendly. Kayaktrip was worth twice what we paid. Rooms in the two air conditioned buildings were fantastic. The views are priceless. Loads offun things to keep the little ones entertained. Cons: With one restaurant open, excluding breakfast, the selection gets reallyold, really fast. The two cottages we had needed serious upgrading. Felt more like camp than a resort. Communication between thefront desk and other resort entities needs work. Read more

GREAT family activities and wonderful hard-working staff. We went hiking (nice trails across from resort), played Pickleball,... tennis, yoga, went swimming, shuffleboard, corn hole, bike riding was a lot of fun and the kayaking was fabulous! Accommodations were fine (old but clean) and food was good. I gave 4 stars because only one restaurant was open and we had 18people on a meal plan so the menu got old for lunch and dinner. Otherwise I would highly recommend. Read more
