If I?m being honest this place has a very great atmosphere, nice for dates. The food isn?t bad it?s pretty decent but I wouldn?t... say it?s anything near authentic definitely a lil more gentrified. It?s different but I enjoyed it just nothing too special. Read more

This is for sure the best sushi in Phoenix. I don?t know if they always have a Wagyu special on Wednesdays but you can bet I?m... gonna try to get that again! The service is a bit formal and things got a bit mixed up with our bill but the food was absolutelydelicious! Read more

I was looking for a good first date sushi place and this was recommended by a friend. I'm actually not a huge sushi fan, and I... ordered several things that I normally would not have eaten, and every single thing I had was phenomenal! The tuna dish was todie for, the server knew what the hell he was talking about and gave some fantastic recommendations, and my drink was one of thebest cocktails I've had in Phoenix. It was a PERFECT first date. Hopefully we will be back on our one year anniversary!???????????? Read more

My sister and I didn?t know you needed a reservation at clever koi, so we went here for drinks after getting dinner somewhere... and I was thoroughly impressed! Bartender was very sweet and the drinks were strong! Well worth the vibe and the strong drinksto pay a little extra. Plus the sushi looked AMAZING! We were kind of mad we ate before we got there lol Read more

I came here for the first time with a friend and we loved the drinks and sushi here. I got the berry white drink and it was so... lovely. The service was excellent and the employees were so kind to us. I recommend coming here with friends for good food anddrinks! My personal favorite dish was the Butter Lime Salmon! It?s worth it?s price and the taste!!! Please have reservationsthough!! We were lucky to have the bar area when we just walked in! Read more

Across the pond has the best sushi in phoenix equivalent to sushi Roku and better than Nobu. The lobster sushi roll is the best... in phoenix. the cocktails to pair the sushi with are amazing. I would recommend ordering the lobster sushi roll with a nicecocktail. This place is nice and quiet it can get a tad bit busy but nothing to where you need to make a reservation this placeis great for a first date or if you just starting to date a person it is a great experience. The music is quite not toooverpowering, not good for groups or parties it is great for a one on one experience, or if you just want to take yoursignificant other out for the night. Some things to improve on would be the music allowing it to be more free flowing with abetter tracklist that can set the mood better, also it does not show up on google or apple maps directly or yelp for that matterwe only found out about the place because of clever koi. Also want to give great credit to the staff they are amazing they knowthe full menu and have a full understanding of what pairs well with what. The only reason it did not receive a 5 is it does nothave the energy and a lively upbeat experience that you would like to see. Read more

I really can?t say enough stellar things about this gem located in central phoenix (central and just south of Campbell). The... vibes alone in this small resturaunt will have you at peace and excitement. ?Yeah... yeah yeah...But how is the sushi herebro?!? Daaaaang, I was getting to it. Honestly, the food here is incredible. I am a huge sushi fan and the innovativeness andexecution of each dish is flawless. Don?t sleep on the service here! They all know their stuff. From the selection of Sake tomelt in your mouth sashimi to outrageously deliciousness sushi rolls, each server and bartender are knowledgeable on how it isprepared and the best way to experience each dish. ProTip: this place is not for the faint of pocket. It?s pricey however youdeserve to treat yourself to greatness. Come down to Across the Pond, you will not be disappointed. Read more
