We called ahead on a weekday evening to see if their Teppanyaki grill was, and would still be, open, upon our arrival. We were... told, yes. However, when we arrived, we were told, only regular seating was available. Our server appeared unhappy with ourpresence. He basically "dropped" our dinner plates on our table. He disappeared, only to reappear to give us our bill. Didn'toffer us a box for our food, didn't ask us if we'd like dessert, etc. I love to give great reviews but, unfortunately, I simplycan't with this experience at this location. Our bill nearly totaled $200, before tip. If anyone is paying (honestly, any dollaramount), I should hope the service equates to the quality of the restaurant and food ???? Read more

This wasn't my 1st choice but the line was long where I wanted to eat. I had the Dynamite scallops for appetizer, that was... fantastic! I ordered the seafood noodles for entrée, it was good but only had 3 mussels, 2 scallops and 3 large shrimp. Thevegetables had a lot of zucchini. The food is good and the portions are reasonable. But the prices are high for what you get. We were seated outside at a rickety... table but the service was quick. My SHRIMP BOWL was good but it cost twice as much as a similar dish at a take-away for theprivilege of sitting at an unstable table. My friend filet and chicken were good but the soup was off-putting and strange. Theycharged too much for a mug of hot tea. It?s very very noisy inside. Recommended with reservations. Read more

Ah So never dissapoints! Staff was friendly and efficient. We had the shrimp tempura sushi roll and the filet mignon teppenyaki.... Comes with delicious Miso soup and a refreshing ginger dressed salad. The portions were big so we also had leftovers for lunchthe next day! Read more

sorry for not giving you a better photo ( i did my best and have a sprained ankle so the staff lets me be seated at the bar so i... can watch my precious bike as i rehab that ankle ) The food is excellent . They will even accomodate your vegetarian ( i am notvegan ) healthy diet . The staff works hard yet always finds a nice way to make you feel at home . AH SO is nicely decorated andhas tv for sports or whatever . the booths are comfy and clean . I Rose Cortina reccomend the Miso Soup ... the cucumber saladhas fresh avocado and a nice light balsamic - like dressing . The only comment i might add is that the real staff is stellar andefficient . But a visiting tall smooth dishwater blonde male with long hair was disinterested in customer service . he wastexting and dismissive . i thought i guess he thinks his hair makes him cool enough to slide by and get back to his real jobelsewhere . Went on a Sunday and it wasn't busy at all. Was quoted 10-15 mins, waited 35 mins. Ordered 3 rolls and it took 40 mins before... they brought the food to the table - we almost left! The food wasn't good and the rolls were small. The restaurant is run downand dirty. Service was good and that was about the only positive that I could come up with. Read more

Food was super. Chef was awesome - sorry, didn't get his name but he was the most entertaining one there. Usually go to the Bell... Rd location. First time at this location and it was a nice experience. Would definitely go back again. Read more

UPDATE FROM NEXT DAY: I got food poisoning from this meal. Had a miserable night 45 minutes after eating it. I am so... disappointed with my meal. I ordered teppanyaki steak and shrimp, like I have done a bunch of times before for take out (it ismy favorite meal ever), but this was terrible. I was quoted for 15-20 minutes over the phone so I showed up at 20 minutes. Ipaid for my order then sat there & and waited 30 additional minutes until my food was ready. The hostess was really sweet andapologized for the wait saying they only had one chef on tonight which I understood. But then I noticed my bag of food handed tome was dripping as I reached my car, because all of the juice from the box had poured out into the bag and it was handed to methat way. I cleaned it up with napkins from my car & proceeded home. When I opened the box I realized my food was cold. Not evensemi warm, which makes no sense for how long it took to prepare it. Then I noticed I was only given a single cup worth ofvegetables, nothing like the quantity normally given, which is waaaay more. The vegetables were missing onion & had bell pepperin them which I have never experienced, it was awful/did not match the flavor of the dish & all of the vegetables were oversoaked with soy sauce, so salty I had to literally wring them out to eat them. I ordered the steak medium rare, it came welldone & dry. I?m most upset about the rice. I don?t know where the chef went wrong but god was that rice terrible. Undercooked,over peppered, tasted like old white rice, just so so bad. I paid a lot for this meal & I?ve had it so many times that I knowwhat it is supposed to taste like, this was really unfortunate. I?ll stick to going to only the other 2 locations. Read more
