Solidly, okay. Disappointment stemmed from the food and facilities, particularly for the price. 6.5/10 overall. Food: 5/10.... Just okay. The shrimp felt overcooked, the king crab felt old or maybe just not fresh. It would not have been so frustrating ifit hadn't cost $125 for the boil for two (before tax/tip). It didn't quite feel worth the price, and I felt a bit let down. Thespice levels are also overstated-- the hot felt like black pepper. The spices themselves were pretty bland as well, verydisappointing because we even selected the trifecta (cajun, lemon pepper, garlic). Either there just wasn't enough seasoning, orelse they just call Old Bay cajun. Drinks were very nice, however-- I had both a sweet peach lemonade and a western son mojito, and regretted neither. Service: 10/10. Service was good, at least-- our server recommended and brought us sauce at a differentlevel of spice on the side when we were dithering and couldn't decide. Pretty attentive, no complaints aboutservice. Facilities: 6/10. Bathroom was a tiny bit scary. It smelled clean, but you'll see there are some dubious spots, including a hole in the ceiling, perhaps where a fan used to be? The paper towels are awkwardly located outside the bathrooms, between the men's and women's. Weird, as that means you have to touch the door handle without a paper towel comingout. Atmosphere: 7/10. Feels family friendly, a lot of TVs all around, mostly playing sports. We got there not long afteropening on a Sunday (around 11am), and the crowds were sparse. People apparently doodle on the walls-- kind of charming in abackcountry kind of way, but it does make me wonder how often they clean the walls. Overall: I felt slightly disappointed, butalso embarrassed because this was my selection, and I invited my best friend because it was her birthday. It really bummed meout that this was what we got. Love Angry due to its uniqueness and atmosphere. Great cajun-style seafood, hostesses are welcoming, servers are excellent (Mark... took great care of us this last time). The boils are out of this world with as little or much spicy as you want. If you?re notin the mood for that, their other menu items are fit for kings as well. Beer is cold too. We?ve tried it all and never beendisappointed. Read more

I had to update this review with comments. My wife and I used to swear by Hot n Juicy, another seafood boil place. The two are... really different from a flavor standpoint. I LOVE the charred oysters. The shrimp is amazing with the Pacific Rim sauce. "Nakedshrimp" is a welcomed addition! I am more than willing to pay a premium to not have to peel the shrimp. ???? Our server, Sydney, was very nice and came over to check up on us regularly. We love this Angry Crab! Read more

Gift cards are a great way to get ya back to old favorites. Came in early and hungry and while we didn't see Gumbo Fries as an... option in the menu, the waitress spoke highly of them and now we do too. That, plus a side salad then sharing 2 lbs of shrimpwas actually more than we could eat. They packed up the remaining shrimp to enjoy later. Read more

Came here on Mardi Gras last Tuesday. The decor and atmosphere of this place makes you feel as if you are in Louisiana, in some... cajun backwater restaurant, complete with using your hands as utensils and a large paper table cloth as your plate. Which isfun, because I was licking some of the juices off my fingers (don't judge me on that). There is also writing all over thewalls, which my four year old enjoyed adding her own artistic flair. But oh man....the price!! You would think you are finedining with the price. We ordered a crawdad bucket, and chose spicy level at sizzling(no picture unfortunately), twin lobsterrolls, and a kids meal for my 4 year old which consists of corn dog nuggets and fries. I also washed down everything with ablueberry alcoholic drink, and my husband enjoyed his candy gator beer. The crawdad bucket was tasty, however I probablywouldn?t order crawdads again. I do like how there are many different flavors of sauce to choose from, and then the varyinglevels of heat for your boil. I enjoyed my lobster rolls. My daughter didn?t enjoy her corndogs, but she is super picky. Imust say prices are much higher than the last time I have visited any angry crab, but everything is getting expensive right nowso eh. Our server was great, so that is good. Overall, a solid place to enjoy a good boil. Read more

Always a strange concept when you're paying over $100 (for 2) to eat on paper without utensils, but that's the charm to this... chain. Outstanding service. Outstanding food. 10/10 would go again. Read more

It was my first time there. The great news is that our waiter who took the order was awesome ????, even the Mgr. Johnathan was... great, I remember his name because that's my daughter's boss name. 2 of my grandkids and my sister had the kids burger. Thatburger looked amazing to be a kid size. I certainly hope they never change that. The fries looked amazing, my other 2grandkids had chicken, 1 with bone in the other boneless, they were also satisfied. The unfortunate, was that they were out ofthe main food items at 8ish, that my daughter & son in law ordered. No crayfish, no fried pickles to be exact. My comment tothe waiter, you all must have large crowds in the afternoon. With that being said; To be safe, I always order the Shrimp PoBoy, whenever I go to seafood places, because it'sa simple meal. Not to mention our family do crab and shrimp boils regularlyand I can't see paying $75 upward and not getting as much as you anticipate. However, we understand that's how it goes in thebusiness world. When my Po Boy arrived, it literally was on a wonderful piece of bread role, lots of lettuce, a couple slicesof tomato, but the down fall, it only had 6 medium to small shrimp, that looked pre-breaded. That was disappointing. My son inlaw said we'll just have to continue to go to Hot & Juicy at Westgate.... overall the customer care, the workers were fabulous,we love them. If we just come back for the customer care that would be great. I placed 3 photos. Angry Crab had 6 pre-breadedshrimp. My Shrimp Po Boy, I did before photo, with my sauce, then put together with a red onion. I gave them a 4 because ofcustomer service. Read more
