The staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is fun and festive. The food was okay. I tried the Santa Fe chicken... salad, and I would not order it again. The chicken was alright, but didn't taste like it was freshly grilled. The greensreminded me of a salad bar that had been sitting out for hours. Overall, the salad was mediocre at best. Also, the iced teadid not taste fresh- perhaps it was brewed earlier in the evening? I'll probably give it another try, but order something elsefrom the menu. Read more

Believe it or not, I have never been to this Mexican restaurant and all my life. I heard about this place for so many years. I... figured if a restaurant has been around for this long there's got to be something good about it. The restaurant has an oldnostalgic Hispanic vibe to it. It's an older restaurant. When I walked in I noticed some of the neon lights were burned out, andbecause of how hot it was, there was a fan blowing onto the dining area. They definitely have a thing for parrot birds. Lol!Though it was very limited, we were able to enjoy happy hour appetizers, beers and margaritas. As far as the food from the menu,it was excellent! We ordered mini chimichangas, chips and guacamole and seasonal favorite green chili carne asada burrito.Unfortunately the first batch of guacamole they delivered was was old and turning brown. But they did replace it with a brandnew fresh batch. Overall we had a good dinner and a fun time. Just make sure you get everything exactly the way you want it. Read more
This was baaaad no flavor once so ever!!! I have had better tacos from a hard working mother selling tacos from her home! The... food had no quality!!! The only quality this place had was the waiter she was great! I come from LA weekly and this will not bea stop I will be returning too!! Hopefully all of Arizona Mexican food is not like this !!! Visited for Taco Tuesday (however that ends at 4pm—lunch only). We did Happy Hour with 50% off Appetizers and decent drink... prices! Drinks were good, comp chips, salsa, and bean dip were delicious and spicy! The Spinach Queso was also spicy. So besure you can handle the heat if you choose to dine here! Everything our group had looked fresh and tasty! Our helpful, friendlyServer—Miranda did a fantastic job for a group of 20+! Her manager Ariana was friendly and helpful as well. It’s a very oldbuilding with old decor, dark lighting, and a maze like seating arrangement, but it seems to work. Parking is limited—althoughthey have a sign posted that the Discounts Tire and the bank next door offer discounted parking. Give it a try if you’re inthe area craving Mexican. Read more
So glad we decided to stop in while shopping across the street! Really cute and authentic spot. From the chips and dip to start... to main courses everything tasted amazing. Ask for Natalia, she is great! The house margarita was 10 out of 10. We got a peachone too for like a buck more (also really good). Definitely recommend ????
