This is such a great place to go for lunch or dinner! Their menu allows you to choose Cava-curated entrees or build your own... bowl/pita. I?ve been here a few different times and the food?s been great as well as the service! Ty and the team have alwaysmade choosing different options so easy and they?re so friendly. First time here and it was good. The ?baby spinach? is pretty big tho it?s the size of regular spinach and I?m not a big leafy... person unless it?s small so that kinda threw me off. Other than that, everything I got on my bowl was good. Wish they hadcouscous as a side option Read more
I want to give it five stars because I LOVE CAVA!! We first tried it in Virginia and fell in love. We moved to Phoenix and had... no idea there were locations here. When we discovered that, we were thrilled! Even though we are 30 minutes away from thenearest one we had to order. We love the food! We ordered 6 meals through the app. When we showed up to pick it up, they hadmade one meal and called it good. We had to tell them they were missing five more meals. They then looked at the receipt andsaid oh yeah. So we had to wait another 20 minutes while they finished the remaining order. These stars are for the workers notthe food. That should not be happening. The whole point of doing an online order for pick up is so you?re not standing in lineand waiting. Read more
The food is so good and fresh and the service was fantastic! Ty who helped us with our first time here took the time to show us... all of the different options with the sauces, proteins and toppings. We?d highly recommend this establishment for anyone lookingfor a more Mediterranean food line style restaurant. With food and service like this I definitely to be in every major citysoon! Read more
One of the items I got was black lentils, they seem dried out, and even crunchy. Also, on one of my visits, they were out of... meatballs, I think because it was close to closing. Seems like the acoustics (sound) is bad in there, it seems quite noisy withpeople talking. The Ambiance & atmosphere in there is quite bland & boring, they need more pictures on the wall or something.The food is a bit pricey, but the same time, you're getting something unique & different. I was really excited to try this place. Placed an order online.. I ended up waiting almost 20+ minutes from the time my order... was estimated for pick up. When i went into the store, i was surprised how dirty the tables were. Flavors are alright tbh. Meat was all cold. I most likely will not return. Read more
I?ve been to a CAVA one other time and loved it. I wanted my husband to try it so while we were in town we went to the location... on East Camelback Rd. The front door was locked for no obvious reason. When we walked in to the side door, another patron waswalking out, but otherwise we were the only ones in the store. The guy at the counter told us they didn?t really have anythingand he pointed to the spread. I asked what was missing, he couldn?t tell me. He said they didn?t have pita chips, which I hadwanted, but then after checking in the back he said it would just take a few minutes. He had to keep going to the back becausethere weren?t serving utensils. He barely spoke and seemed flustered at every turn. Finally, one of the multiple employees inthe back came out to help him with a fresh batch of the most over seasoned pita chips I?ve ever had. I love pepper but thesewere literally coated in pepper and salt such that they were inedible. The drink machine had no ice and we were told it wouldtake a very long time for that to be refilled. Four workers in the restaurant that we could see, plus more in the back, but noone could refill the ice or the dwindling drinks in the machine. The service was haphazard, slow and filled with attitude. Wekept saying it was fine that they didn?t have certain items and we said we didn?t mind waiting on things. But they continued tobe disengaged and seemingly annoyed they had to work at all. If this had been my first experience with CAVA I would never goback again. My husband says he doesn?t need to. Disappointed as we don?t live near one and I was eager for him to try it.Haven?t seen that poor of service in a restaurant ever. Read more
