Nice scene for Italian food. Visited on a Wednesday I think. I can see why they have so many great reviews.

December 28, 2020 UPDATE Very sad to hear that Trattoria D'Amico has closed its indoor dining area. They are still providing... order pick up at the restaurant and are also at the Scottsdale Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. I have been going to themarket every Saturday for my bread and croissants and other pastries from D'Amico's at the market. Chef Romolo has the woodburning oven set up there as well. As always, worth the trip. Update August 6, 2020 Was craving some pasta carbonara thisevening and as always it did not disappoint. Was also able to bring home some true Italian style baked bread. Was treated tosome pizza. A new item on the menu and it was fantastic. If you can try both, please do. Every restaurant has its specialtyand in my opinion Chef Romolo is known for Pasta Carbonara If you truly want the best experience and best carbonara, you musttry this place. Trattoria D’Amico It’s worth the drive for the pasta. Read more

Authentic Italian, don’t go there looking for Fettuccini Alfredo or things like Chicken Parmesan, that’s what Olive Garden... is for. Instead they have dishes such as slow roasted lamb, wood-fired pizza, and amazing pasta dishes that you can’t find inother Italian restaurants. It is a family run place, and the owners are from Rome. Good atmosphere, better food. I would highlyrecommend to anyone who wants an actual taste of Italy. Read more

Very accusatory. Very uncomfortable especially for black individuals. I never write reviews this is my first. I did not get... anything I asked for. I asked for white wine I was served red. Bartender is rude. Food i got things I didn't ask for. My firsttime there and hello, I forgot I was black. Wasted time and money. I'll feed the food to my neighbor's dog. Read more
