Liam was pleasant and polite! I like how he repeated the order back to each person in our party! The appetizers were on point!... Highly recommend the cauliflower! The tamales were good and so were the rice noodles. The burger looked pretty generic,however. Dessert (apple/gooseberry crumble and donut holes) were mediocre at best; would avoid. I would come back. We went during lunch time on a Sunday. Seated right away. They serve breakfast until 2 pm I believe. The... French toast and Sonora eggs Benedict were decent & tasty. The drink menu looked amazing would love to try. Our server wasprompt and polite. The gift shop is connected right next door. I found some things to buy there. We celebrated at this restaurant located inside the desert botanical garden of Phoenix Az. Ordered the Iced Coffee, "Hot Mess"... and "Bread Pudding" all recommended, tasty, not spicy. Love that Menu options seems seasonal. Can't wait for the cooler weatherto enjoy the garden walk surrounding this tiny restaurant with outside patio seating area. Really great place in the desert botanical gardens. We stopped for a quick brunch. Everything was really good. We had a unique... chilled honeydew soup and fried cauliflower was yum too! We visited the Arboretum for the first time. We arrived around 4:30, had dinner at 6:15, then visited the illuminated Arboretum... again for the nighttime experience. This is the way to go!! I must take exception to the few reviews that complained that thefood did not match the price. The food was served quickly, piping hot, large portions, & was very very good. I had an arugula &walnut side salad that was very fresh & tasty. I had the beef, potatoes, carrots, & cauliflower for the entree. My wife had theJumbalaya. It was all very very good. Read more

We had reservations for the Botanical Gardens so the location being just inside the entrance to the right, was a big selling... point to us. The hostess was very polite, the line to enter was short, and our waiter Holden was very attentive and did a greatjob. We opted to sit inside but overheard that others were waiting for outside seats. We started off with the Elote Fritterswhich were a bit dry, but still very good and we finished all of them. For my entree I chose the daily special The French Dipbecause I live in LA and wanted a taste of home. It was delicious with a generous portion of meat. The meal was very good, thepricing was fair, and the location is unbeatable if you want to grab a bite before strolling through the gardens (they do havecafe toward the back as well). Read more
Excellent food, fantastic service. Everything tasted fresh and crisp. Flavors were subtle and delicately surprising. The food... looks well presented and colorful. A feast for the eyes and the mouth. The difference between regular restaurant food and whatthis restaurant serves is so obvious here. And what makes it better is that most of the dishes are gluten free! So why did Itake off one star? The coffee. They only have drip coffee and it is pretty bad. A glaring oversight at an otherwise upscaleexperience. If you want great food, and great service, this is the place to go. Read more
