Reviews for il Asilo Restaurant & Bar in Phoenix, AZ
We've been in a few times now and everything was OK. Food has been alright, love the interior. Ordered the broccoli soup once... and it was super runny vs a nice cream soup like you'd expect. Today we decided to come in for Sunday football since theyadvertise the Sunday Ticket and the breakfast options looked really good. We walked in, liked that the tvs were labeled toeasily find our game, asked the bar staff if they'd decided which game would have the sound on yet as it was still 20 min untilfirst kickoff and there were hardly any other patrons there yet and she said "we do the Cardinals game only" I mentioned thatthey don't play until tomorrow and she said then they wouldn't put any sound on it would just be the music. We ended up leavingand visiting another establishment who gladly put on the sound for our game for us. A big part of Sunday ticket and watchingfootball is listening to the game as well. Will not be back for football games sadly. Read more
Great neighborhood bar. Somehow all the food is amazing on this large menu. Beer is cheap and cold. Cocktails are good too.
Walked in a Thursday night. NFL was and place seemed busy and like a place we would go. Sat down and moved all the dirty... glasses to the side of the table. After about 7 - 8 min both the bartender and the server ( we think) stopped at the table atthe same time. Bartender took half of the dirty glasses and walked away did not say anything. The server turned and walkedaway as well. After approx. 10 min more we left. We went back a second time. Always give places another look because youdon't know what was going on the first time. They were somewhat busy again and only had one person working so he was trying hisbest to help everyone. Food was great, this is a neat little place and definitely on the list to come back. Read more
We go in there all the time and always Uber and share that with the bartender. For some reason she said she would call the cops... after we had already called a Uber which we always do.We are calm people and do not get loud. We do not drink and drive. Whywould she serve us and then question it? The records will show we took a Uber. Buzzed not toasted...We took the Uber thereknowing we would have a few and took one home. We would not drive after one drink. Left our to go box after ordering extra forleftovers...will miss that tomorrow... Read more
Been to the Asylum a few times. Live right down 7th Street. Really good bar. Great drink, great Bartenders. No doubt. Good happy... hour too. Pool tables and dart boards. Only food we had were the Fried Zucchini. They were burnt. Cook said it's the pankobatter. Hmmmmmm....not sure. bartender recognize how toasty the were and ask if we wanted to replace em. She's awesome. It's a 5star bars for sure. Even with the burnt zucchini. Read more
