Amazing place to eat! Friendly staff & great food. We even got try some "fire salsa". Great flavor & heat balance.

Irma?s Kitchen is a wholesome family run establishment where you taste the love in every bite. Not only is the food phenomenal... the attention to their customers rivals that of a Michelin Star restaurant. Miss Irma herself walks around asking if you needanything, if you?ve been helped or if you?d like your order taken. I've been to Irma's several times but last time was pre-pandemic. So it has been awhile. Maybe it was a different cook, it was a... Monday, maybe an off day. The service was great and attentive. Salsa is great. Side tortillas were perfect. Could always usemore chips and salsa. The meals were just alright and not great like I remember. Chicken mole burrito lacked zing. The carneasada bowl while good had too much lettuce as filler under the initial layer. Chiliaquiles was described as "Looked pretty butI've had better" and beans were runny. Again maybe an off day as I know I've had great food there in the past. I will give themanother try next time I have business down at the capitol. Read more

This place was a nice hidden gem. I got the menudo which was excellent. My wife got the chilaquiles which were great. Overall... great service. Very friendly and amazing food. Highly recommend. Read more
