The food was good. Bacon & eggs is pretty hard to screw up. I?m only giving them 1 Star however, because they only serve one... slice of toast with the meal! I think that?s ridiculous. It?s pretty infuriating to me, that they are so cheap that they can?teven give you two slices of toast like 99.9% of the rest of the restaurants across the country do! Read more

Ive heard of this place for a long time and me and my family finally decided to try it out. We loved it. We liked the "old... fahion diner" feel. It felt like family and everything we got tasted as if they made it at home. The staff was friendly and theplace was very clean. It's definitely a hidden gem and people that go there look like consistent locals. The only reason why Igave it 4 stars is because it was a tad bit expensive and the tip was included in the bill but other than that I woulddefinitely rank this place as one of my top 3 breakfast places! A great little eatery to try. The Chicken & Waffles isn't on the official menu, but I can assure you they are well worth the... wait for them to be made fresh to order. The syrup could use an upgrade, but the waffle and chicken are Grade-A. If that dishis a favorite of yours, definitely give it a try. Read more

I was so impressed with this little place. What a gem! They have so many menu items to choose from! The food is delicious and... the service is exceptional! They really go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your meal. The staff is mostly family andthey make you feel like a part of their family! I am not easily impressed with service in Phoenix but this place has itall! There's a lovely view of the mountains and the cafe itself is charming. They have daily specials hand written on theoutside before you walk in. On the menu the items highlighted in red are their specialties. The pancakes are cooked toperfection. Fluffy inside and crispy on the outside. I had the chicken fried steak as well (it's one of their specialties) andit was also cooked perfectly with a generous amount of meat. Good clean little diner with a wide ranging menu. This isn't a bistro, you arent going to find truffle oil, or even very much... seasoning. All of the food is properly prepared, good quality in decent portions, and the place is clean. A rare find in thisarea. Well done! Read more
