So glad I finally crossed the street from Don Woods to this gem in the hi desert of Uptown! Very hip and cool poolside cocktail... bar and restaurant tucked in the Rise hotel. They did a pretty great job on this one with the look and feel for sure and it hasme hooked. Not only do they have all the tropical standards, with a twist, they have a the customs that will keep you comingback. So of course the first time I showed up had to try that Dole Whipped and a Lazy daze. Excellent ways to start the day, that Dole Whipped is no joke and highly recommended, both were really good. However, I am a drink tourist so ended up with amarket Caipirinha, yet another excellent cocktail creation...had to return for more. Wait, they have food too. So second timearound went with Ahi Ceviche which was awesome, kinda take on Ceviche and poke cubed ahi, excellent in my opinion. Chickensandwhich and cheeseburger later and still highly impressed. They have a bucket of chicken on the menu so no doubt I will end upback here, hopefully passed out on a cabana with that bucket of chicken, you know...keepin classy. So going down this drinkmenu, because beyond chicks in bikinis running around I am here for the cocktails right now. So ended with the Opposable Rumsand Tequila Funshine both excellent. Friend had the Coupette Colada and that one is hook, this dude has no problem walkingaround with this one...it's too good for real tho. dangerous for sure. You can even get rooms and I think they do summer dealsso that brings in the girl groups so...yeah, hidden gem. not tooooo bro heavy, at least for now..luckily its not exactly cheapso it filters things out for the ladies. Have fun and will be slumming some summer (and Phoenix fall) days here for sure. Read more

Every time I visit Arizona I make it a point to get over to Lylo. The food is amazing and the tiki style drinks are to die for.... I really enjoy the French fries and crispy tuna, you can?t go wrong with starting with those dishes. The pool is quite small butthe cabanas are comfortable and the ambiance is really relaxing. This place is awesome, especially if you're looking to hang around the pool sipping cocktails with friends. Speaking of... cocktails boy do they have some good ones! I'd definitely recommend the Dole whipped. That was my favorite. Its kind of likePineapple sherbet with rum. If you want to chill I'm the pool area you have to reserve a chair or daybed etc so keep that inmind before going and check the website for the pricing. You don't have to do the pool area though as they have a side where youcan sit and eat and bar area. We sat and it seemed like our drinks were being served much faster than those who were in the poolarea so something to consider if you just want to try food and cocktails. As far as the food we had the Togarashi fries and theKBBQ beef but there many other delectable items we saw that we disnt get to try. Waitress was very friendly and so was thebartender. Cool place to check out Read more

Visited Lylos for the first time as I visited Phoenix! This is such a cute and classy pool club/bar. The pool was a very nice... size and they even have a large hot tub/jacuzzi pool. Perfect for later nights outside. We order plenty of drinks and they weremade so pretty, they tasted just as good as they looked! Food was also great. Our server, Aiden, made our experience superawesome as he was nice, personable and super helpful! 10/10 recommend! Read more

In town for a short time staying at the accompanies hotel for the night. Staff were super friendly and we sat at the bar. They... had food and snack option available and plenty of fancy cocktails made to order. We didn?t venture in the pool but it lookedlike a great time and there were plenty of seating areas available on the nice sunny day we were visiting. Fun atmosphere with achill vibe and a live DJ. Not a bad spot to have a few drinks with friends or lounge around the pool. Group favorites includethe Mr. Hendricks gin and cucumber. Cheers!! Read more

Super pretentious, snobby and flat out rude staff including the manager. Wouldn?t make a single gesture to relocate my family to... a new table even tho ours was wayyyy to windy too sit at. Their paper plates are garbage and their $32 wings are so overly deepfried that they are dry beyond belief. Terrible Bloody Mary?s and staff doesn?t have a clue about decent service. Sure hope thisreview makes it to upper management. Chasing stylish trends means nothing if you don?t know how to treat guests and make evendecent food. Read more

Very sunny and beautiful area. Drinks are very well made and garnished. Food was decent. Servers did not come by often, had to... walk to the bar to order instead. Also there is a significant charge to enter the pool area, so we ended up not going in. Read more

Did a staycation on labor day weekend here. Nice little retro like spot. Pool vibes were good, service was under staffed for a... holiday weekend. They hotel was nice we liked the alcoholic ice cream bars! The fried chicken was a little strange However, could've done without the sugar on it. However they claimed for guests to have access to the pool up to noon on day of check outand then rescinded that and wouldn't let anyone in the pool area that wasn't a guest! That was part of the reason we stayed herefor the extra pool time after checkout. Needless to say probably won't stay again. Read more
