I had an ultra thin crush pizza with toppings. The pizza held the weight and the crust was crunchy. Surprisingly it was tasty,... but maybe a little too greasy. The server was informative and pleasant. Worth trying, if this is what you're looking for. Theyall have a ticket crust, but I didn't try it. Read more

Fruit flies galore! I have visited every Mellow Mushroom in the Phoenix, Metro area, including Glendale and northern Scottsdale... too. From Tempe, Gilbert, Scottsdale?s, and even Glendale?. Why do ALL of your locations have a serious fruit fly problem? It?sdisgusting! I?m mid-grubbin, and there are always several flies buzzing around my food and drinks indoors?. Why?! Pizzaiola Burger is amazing! Definitely recommend! Shared that and a meatball hoagie with my fiancé and both were delicious! My... son had French bread cheese pizza and apple slice. Not a big selection for kids but my son loved his food. Staff was also verynice and helpful. Read more

Having tapped our local hood for locally owned pizza, we went to Mellow Mushroom to see how they measured up. The atmosphere is... fun and consistent with their psychedelic brand theme. Fairly simple menu with standard pub grub appetizers, a variety ofcreative pizza combos, and burgers. Prett large beer menu as well. We started by trying their beer pretzels and wings. Thepretzels,...well, weren't. They were just twisted pale white baked dough served with OTC plain mustard - the whole world isdoing pretzels now, so the bar has risen. The wings were room temperature and otherwise forgettable. We ordered the classiccrust pizza with just Italian sausage. I was pleasantly pleased with the quality, texture, and taste of their crust. It wascrispy edge-to-edge. Their sauce is nice and tangy. It may just be crushed tomatoes and nothing else, and it stood out and madethe pizza. The service was good and the prices are really reasonable, especially during happy hour. Makes for a great familyspot. Read more
While picking up our take-out order, we discovered that, unfortunately, our pizza was accidentally destroyed coming out of the... oven and that it would be another 12 minutes before our order was ready.
