I was disappointed at Nkeshi's Pot, I was at Phoenix for vacation and I was happy that I found an african restaurant but my... experience was watered-down. Let me start by saying that your food tasted salty and oily. Honestly, am not trying to bring youdown but your food is not healthy, haven't said this, I reach out to the owner and she pleaded and promised to change.Iplaced another round thinking she would make corrections but this time around the food was even worse. The goat meat peppersoup didn't meet the standard of Nigeria Pepper Soup, not only that, the quality was below average and also expensive. I had totrash all the food away. What pained me most was that I didn't have value for my hard earned money. Madam, please adjustyourself and you will see changes in your food business. Read more

Hello, I wanted to thank the owner who gave me a discount because I had to wait a little bit, and it was after their closing... time. I'm very grateful. I got the grill buss down and was VERY impressed with how huge and flavorful this fish is. Iabsolutely loved the sauce its sweet, tangy, it tasted amazing with the bed of plantains. Only thing was when I used my fork andknife I occasionally got some of the aluminum foil its wrapped on my bite, it being so easily cut and stuff, next time I willtransfer to a plate before I dig in! Ordered catfish pepper stew, and got a side order of white rice, I'm very glad I did, it is as it's listed a very spicy soup.... But filled to the brim with fish and vegetables. I asked why the price was so high and an employee explained how over 60% of therestaurant ingredients are imported or even outsourced (I. E the buying and butchering of the goat, for goat meat pepper stewand jollof and soups with goat meat) and that it is certainly not just "her selling food up out her house" lol. The Scottsdalelocation is bigger and delivers and the website is set to be up in a week or two I was told. Then we can order without the feesdoordash includes. Read more

At first I was confused because of the apartment complex, but when you come to think of it it makes as much sense as renting a... commercial space lol, but likely waters free???? anyway the food is on another level. I just haven't had that many layers andlevels of flavor, in a loooong time. And it's got lots of different spice. If your not used to it grab some milk.... I know I'dhave to search online and wait weeks just to get the ingredients, much less attempt to make any of these soups. Kudos to thechef, this is home grown cooking, Nigerian native cuisine at it's finest Try the okra soup with beef, the shrimp and beef is agreat surf and turf dinner, with veggies to make it healthy lol Read more

I love the jollof rice and plantains with fried chicken, it's very tender and crispy on the outside, stewed for flavor and fried... for crunch lol. I absolutely love the puff puffs as well. Fantastic desert. I don't really care about it being from a unit in anapartment complex, home cooked meal were always the best that I had. Read more
