This place was terrible. We and guests sat outside,people smoking,smell of smoking getting on us. Server came out took our... beverage orders, then when waters were given to us, the waitress (Heidi)took our orders, and never came back out.We waited andwaited 45 mins or more. Heidi was serving inside, let our foods sit inside forever. People outside around us got taken care ofreal quick,while we were still waiting, no one seemed to care. We kept asking what is happening, they would say server isinside. Then there was hair on the plate. Also,Jerry the waiter in 9/10/22, when asked to wear a mask for someone sick,heinsulted us constantly & commenting about wearing a mask,he was rude.Served burnt ribs,everything was awful & unpleasant. A friend was having surgery tomorrow, so we decided to go out for lunch to brighten her day. 2:40 on a Sunday afternoon, We... chose the Cactus Paradise Valley site. BAD IDEA!!!! I ordered the 6 oz sirloin med well, someone not our waitress, brought ourorder, I received a well done sirloin, crusty old tepid mashed potatoes, mushy broccoli, neither side dish was edible. To makematters worse our server (Rebecca) never came back to check on us. So I could not ask for freshly made side dishes that could beeaten. We had asked the server to bring us another bread, which of course never showed up. I got the feeling that our waitresshad determined "two old ladies, they will be bad tippers". I am an ex-waitress and always tip 20%+ . This time i left her anote, no$$$ so she is out $10.00 for her bad decision. Go to the Desert RIdge one not the Paradise Valley one. Read more
Had wonderful twin lobster tails (a bit small so beware), with delicious creamy mashed potatoes, and macaroni & cheese. The... Blackberry Desert drink was just phenomenal. ???? The steak & shrimp was also very tasty with a side of broccoli and pilafrice. Definitely enjoy coming back here when we get the chance. Read more
I?m a usual 5 star reviewer all the way. I?ll even give an A for effort. If something is off, would typically bring it up to a... manger or owner for correction. And not ding an establish with a 1 star. Ever. However, this presentation is really pathetic. Ifyou ever have the chance to order Chicken on the Barbie to go. Don?t. No wait, 2pm late lunch, Monday. Server- Daniel was great! Food was ok, but then again, it's a Steakhouse and I ordered Shrimp.... $14 for a Fried Shrimp Appetizer, boatload of shrimp, overfried and greasy, but ok taste. Bread and butter is good. ChoppedSalad was pre made, therefore very wilted and drowned in the dressing. Would've been delicious freshly made. Tried to get thehousemade lemonade, but it was like drinking lemon water, not much lemon and very tart, no sweet. Nice dining rooms, spacious,warm, inviting. Outside patio and plenty of parking in a good location with lots of shopping, restaurants, coffee, etc. Read more
Wonderful meal! Their food is a little bit on the spicy side. The waitress was wonderful and brought out two loaves of bread to... start with, and was periodically checking on us, very consistent. Read more
