Came here for Sunday brunch the other week. I had high hopes after hearing recommendations from friends, reviews, and the menu... looked excellent. Unfortunately I cannot agree. The Good: I ordered a Bloody Mary, which I enjoyed, and our server was greatand attentive. The Bad: The Bloody Mary was on the spicier side, so I opted for a more mild breakfast, and got the "eggsbreakfast". I ordered the eggs over medium, schreiner's sausage, English muffin, and hash-browns. EVERYTHING was over cooked. The eggs were over hard, if not completely over-done (not a runny yolk in sight). The sausage was charred/burnt on the outsideand tough/dried out on the inside (a real shame given this is such a nice product when prepared well), and the English muffinwas somehow both burnt and soggy at the same time. I didn't mind the hash-browns being over-done since I tend to like them onthe crispier side. The Ugly: The food was bland and unseasoned. The hash-browns were especially bad being just plain potato. Iasked for ketchup to go with them, and I was presented with what appeared to be house-made ketchup. Even that I felt like I wasjust eating tomato paste. For the prices this restaurant is charging you'd think they would know how to use salt! Read more

Excellent Taos Tenderloin medium rare. The GCP didn't have a lot of flavor but the squash definitely was yummy. Odd... presentation but fantastic flavor. Would definitely order with a different side. The Chimayo Chicken was dry and lacked flavor. It did have generous side options. The pan seared salmon melts in your mouth yum. Was pricey. Would come back for theTenderloin/salmon. Parking was horrible - forced valet with no other option. They say it's complementary but it really isn'tsince you tip. Read more

Dont want to tell you how incredible the food and atmosphere were cause I don't want everyone to crowd this place. Its crazy... amazing! That's the sea bass in an extraordinary sweet chili/lime crusted sauce. Read more

All around great experience. Was hoping to come for happy hour, but missed the window, but still came for drinks and dinner. ... Its a little pricey, but the value is there so I don't mind. Quality of ingredients, preparation and presentation were all verysolid. We had three appetizers and drinks. WE picked to of the most expensive apps, but they were worth it. The steak tartare came as all separate components you mix yourself. Very interesting presentation. I made the assumption that it should all bemixed together, which was a mistake for me. I assumed they knew the measures for proper tartare, in the future I will cut backon the parts, the meat was overwhelmed. All in all still good. The bacon wrapped shrimp was fantastic, but then again how canyou go wrong? WE also had the onion rings which were very crispy, perfectly breaded and good sized. The sauces with the shrimpand the rings were stellar. I wanted to try so many more items on the menu, so will have to return, Read more

I have been visiting the Rokerij since 2016 and absolutely love the food! I also love the ambiance at the Cellar. However,... recently I visited and service was just really off. There was hardly anyone dining in the restaurant and no one was at thehostess stand to seat me. After standing at the door looking around for 5min, the bartender looked right at me and said nothingso finally I sat myself. Angelina, my waitress was delightful. She took my order promptly. But after I had ordered I wasapproached by a manager and questioned as to how I received seating. This was especially odd considering all of the empty tablesaround me. One of the bus boys proceeded to roll his eyes at me periodically as if annoyed by my sitting at a table to eat. Theexperience made me feel quite unwelcome and if it weren’t for Angelina’s friendly and pleasant demeanor I would have leftbefore even receiving my order. Usually the service is cordial and unremarkable but this day was particularly rash. The nexttime I am craving the pan seared salmon, I may just order to go. Read more

This place is amazing. My boyfriend and I went here for Valentines Day and were blown away. First off, the ambiance is out of... this world. The upstairs is so unique, beautiful and charming but we chose to eat in the basement speakeasy part, which wassuper intimate and sultry. The food was jaw-dropping good. We love the staff. Trey the bartender is the best ever! This place isperfect for date night but also good for groups, especially for brunch which they serve daily (this might be only on theRichardson’s side, im not sure - but it’s all the same establishment). Fabulous! I love this place and the menu changes so there’s always something new to try. If you don’t recognize something on... the menu just order it. I was weary about all these dishes since it was outside my norm but they were all delicious. Oh and thedrinks are fire too! Read more
