I am a big fan of this place! I've been going to this place for over 15 years. It's one of my favorite Thai restaurants in... Phoenix. My favorite dish is beef pad see ew, chicken pad Thai and pork green curry with spice level 3! But I like spicy, andfor me 3 is not overly spicy. The food has always been fresh, consistent, affordable and service has always been fast andfriendly. Read more

I ordered take out for my boyfriend and thought the salad would actually be a salad. Not worth $15. Maybe Thai salad is... different, but regardless I was expecting more. Read more

The yellow curry was good. Service was OK, but not great. We felt our waitress could have been more attentive, though we... understand it is tough working in a restaurant that is likely short staffed. We did not see the sticker on the menu indicatingan additional charge for any meat to be added to the meal. So our yellow curry with chicken went from $14 to something like$15.60. they said they are changing the menus, and it is related to inflation. Overall, OK. Read more

5 of us visited Sala Thai Phoenix for the first time. Very happy that we did! The Panang Curry 5 HOT was perfect. Another had... the green curry THAI HOT and that rocked as well. The wife had a noodle dish and that was terrific. Happy to see such a greatestablishment with great service and great food! We will be back to try other Thai dishes. Well worth the drive from the WestValley. Read more

Fast, friendly service and consistently good food. Since the new owners have taken over, it's been fantastic. Great for takeout... too! Read more

Ok Thai, but there's much better in the area. I can't really recommend this place. Service is friendly. But the food is not up... to par. The Fresh Rolls are mostly lettuce and the peanut sauce is quite sour ????. The Garlic Chicken is also quite vinegary, not a hint of garlic. Mostly breading. I asked if I could sub something for the rice. Server said they could give some veggies.Well it came out with a side bowl of steamed veggies (not what I expected, I thought it would be cooked with the dish). I gotan unpleasant surprise when the bill came with an added $2.50 for subbing the veggies for the rice! I really dislike places notsaying there's an up charge for substitutions! It should be disclosed up front! It's in a "dead" area, not much going on and therestaurant itself seems uncomfortable. Read more

Though located in a less than favorable plaza, Sala Thai was quite surprising. The atmosphere felt excellent. The attention to... detail, from the cutlery, to the decor, to the food, was methodical. The prices are very fair. Sala Thai is a visit if you're inthe area! Read more
