The associates here are friendly and very helpful especially if you do not order coffee so often. I did notice that the tip jar... is mostly empty and I hope people That visit this location keep in mind Associates in the coffee business do not get paid muchhourly remember to tip you're good service. I visited this Starbucks twice while staying at the Renaissance Hotel. The first time, I was impressed by how quickly I was... served, especially given the length of the line. This morning, the line was much shorter, but the woman in front of me wastaking a while, so a gentleman stepped in to ask what I wanted. It was clear that he was only half paying attention to me. Itried to get his full attention to let him know that I wanted to order multiple things. He took the order for my two drinks andthen passed me off to the young woman who was working the register to order my sandwiches. Again, I got my order quickly, butafter I got back to my room, I realized that my drink was wrong... it contained syrup that I hadn't asked for. Normally, Iwouldn't be that upset... mistakes happen. But it was clear as I was ordering that he wasn't paying attention. When I returnedto correct the order, I waited patiently in line. I expected a "sorry about that", but there was no apology. The 3 star ratingis 5 stars for yesterday and 1 for today. Read more
