Definitely a late night spot - very loud. Bartenders are very good though and they make good drinks & will have at least one... decent craft beer on tap Read more

All the bar top and bartenders in the basement were constantly “busy” and preoccupied with chatting with friends and running... between different stations, 2$ water bottles instead of offering cups with ice for a 1$ (I understand it’s a hassle to get awater sometimes in a rush but the water bottle’s as defaults for 2$ are unnecessary in my personal opinion) and some okaymusic that didn’t seem too “mixed” by a hype DJ. Was very unimpressed for even a small cover to get in and experience thestickiest and soaked carpet leading out to a narrow(?) dance floor. Good food and respectful and kind service from theemployees, would maybe make this a late night stop at the end of bar hopping down the street and enjoy a dance off semifrequently I’m sorry I wish I could say more positive features but having my shoes feeling almost soaked in soda on thebottoms before I even touched the dance floor was the HUGEST turn off immediately and it was hard to ignore to say the least Read more

I was assaulted and wound up in the hospital one night. I went a few nights later and got attacked, defended myself and was... asked to leave. It's famous among locals with these kinds of stories, true or false. It's a spot filled with drama, youngpeople, people looking for cheap drinks. Read more

Very disappointed that we weren't even acknowledged by the bartender even after waiting over 15 minutes to order food and... drinks. There were only about 7 to 10 patrons in the pub at the bar since it was around 930pm. Also, there were no patrons atthe tables. We even called prior to see how late the kitchen was open because we are not from the area. Never in all the Irishpubs I have been in have I ever felt so unwelcome. As we waited patiently at the bar as the bartender did her tasks, shecompletely ignored us. We just thought she was busy and when she was finished she would ask us what we would like to order. Whenshe finally finished cleaning up a plate, she leaned back on the bar started socializing completely ignoring us. Not like shedidn't see us. She walked pasted us about 6 times. Even the other patrons looked at us. So we didn't say a word and walkedout. Guess you don't need the business? Good. Because one thing Irish girls do is we don't forget. Worst service ever! I have been here before and loved it. Maybe it was the holiday weekend. As before the premises were clean, the service... exceptionally friendly. Atmosphere welcoming and comfortable. The food took a severe dip in quality. We ordered platters maybewe should have stuck with sandwhiches but even the onion soup was not as good as I have had there before. Will return at somepoint because of past experiences, would not if this had been my first time. Read more

Not a great experience. We sat at the bar since most of the empty tables had decorations, towels, stacks of menus, ect. on them.... When the owners friends came, he took them to a back dining room. The soup below (potato and cabbage?) was burned. The femalebartender was not pleasant and cut off people consistently and walked away. There were only ten other people in the place. Thesecond star is for the prices, but I would have paid more for Quality. Read more

If you are looking for a solid place to have a bite to eat and a pint to drink, then you have found your place! The atmosphere... is a mix between a neighborhood bar and a restaurant. There’s plenty of space the food is above average and the prices arevery reasonable. If you’re looking for a place to set up shop and hang for a bit then this is the place. Read more

We came here to grab some food while in Phoenixville when traveling for work. we started with the Irish corned beef spring... rolls which were pretty good. I liked the dipping sauce that came with them. Then we got a shaved prime rib dipper and thedogwood burger. I enjoyed the prime rib sandwich and the goat cheese on top. The burger wasn't great in my opinion. It was wayovercooked making it dry and lacking flavor. The fries that came with the sandwiches were amazing. The service wasn't greateither. Once we got our food, the waitress was MIA and it took forever to get our checks. Once we did get our checks, it took along time to get our cards back. If you're looking for a bar that has decent food too, this is your place. Read more
