I enjoy going to this restaurant only because my fiance loved their food . As for me I don't think the food is all that great... however they do give you a huge portion for your money. I visit here at least three times a year. The bartenders are so pleasant and knowledgeable. And I guess I shouldn’t say... Bartender I should say mixologist. Our server Vicky Was Excellent. her knowledge of the menu in how the food was prepared wassuper. She even suggested a Wine for dinner. The food presentation was excellent. My family took me here for mother's day. We started with salads. For my entrée I had the seafood combo with included shrimp, ... scallops, lobster and crabmeat in a creamy wine sauce, my husband had the filet, my one daughter had the grilled chicken whilethe other had the stuffed flounder. The food was very good. It was a limit menu for mothers day. For dessert we shared thecoffee creme brulee and carrot cake. Our server seemed overwhelmed and there were several questions my daughters had about thefood that she couldn't answer. Instead of saying let me find out for you her comment was I don't know. This is an upscale steakhouse with a casual feel. I did a lot of searching for a nice place to take the wife on our anniversary... and came across Seven Stars. I checked out the website and looked at the menu. I also read the reviews section and noticed thegood reviews and a few not so good. The not so good complaints were mainly about the prices but I had already looked at the menuknowing what to expect. This is a special occasion dining experience not a weekly visit restaurant. Our appetizers were great,our steaks were large and cooked to perfection. We even managed to save room for dessert. Our server was Brook and youcouldn’t ask for anyone better. She was busy and managed to keep our drinks full, she was also very helpful with menuquestions and overall very friendly. This place was lovely. Took my family and everyone had a great time. I got the prime rib and it was so delicious. Melts in your... mouth. My boyfriend got the seafood combo and it was delicious as well. The only hiccup was the service. At first it was reallygood than they kept forgetting us. We never got refills on our drinks when we asked. We think it just got overlooked. We had anice meal and that's what matters. Read more
Took my wife for her birthday here and what a experience. The food was great. Better then any other place. The people were very... nice and the inside of the building was very beautiful it’s like walking into the past. I had their prime rib wow not only itwas great tasting but bigger then other restaurants. My wife had the stuffed shrimp and I had a bite and that was amazing. Seven Stars Inn never disappoints. This is my annual birthday dinner spot. See the beautiful hanging off the plate perfectly... prepared prime rib that centered my special day. It's also a wonderful spot to entertain visitors to deliver a genuine OGPennsylvania experience. The portions are big but the skill used and quality of the food proves that the large generousportions are far more than a gimick. The historic building sets the mood and I get lost in thoughts of all those that havedined under that roof since the 1700's. Something special to have so close to home. This business and the building are a bit ofAmerican history and it's story is still being told. BYOB is available several nights during the week with no corkage feemaking that a great incentive for a weeknight dinner for the grown ups....call your sitter and reserve a table.
