Grabbed a table inside to sample a few things on the menu. Good lemonade, great coffee, and the chai tea latte (with almond milk... to avoid lactose) was especially fantastic. The mood and atmosphere were cool too. They host live music and offer a really tastyand extensive variety of snacks/meals. They have a ton of options that fit within my dietary restrictions (pancreatic, low fat)so I'm looking forward to trying some of the food next time. Read more

Steel city is a gem of a local coffee shop. Not only do they always have a wide variety of regular and seasonal coffee, they... also have homemade pastries and meals. As a vegetarian, I love all their homemade vegetarian meat alternatives. The savorypastries are also a must! Don't even get me started on their beer offerings and events. Read more

Best coffee shop around! It?s a small place but the food and drinks are delicious.

We went here during pride and even though the line was out the door, it definitely didn?t take long to get our drinks!! I got a... dirty chai and my boyfriend got a mocha frappe and they were both amazing. I drank mine so fast because I couldn?t get enough :)when I?m back in the area I will definitely visit again! We love our coffee from Steel City, it's consistently excellent. If you are seeking a quick run-in and get out coffee this may... not be for you. Service was really delayed for coffee, and worse for food. Our recent visit was a Sunday morning around 9:30 soconsider that there was a brisk crowd in the mix. On personal level it would have been more relaxing if it weren't for theconstant inundation of middle-aged men in cycling attire! Ugh... Our breakfast was very good, albeit not too hot, and as Imentioned it took a while. (Probably waited 35 minutes) That's not really a complaint as much as it is an observation. Steel City Coffeehouse & Bar is the perfect mix of alcohol and caffeine. Their coffee selection when I went there in December... was perfect just as it is now. I liked the staff, the comfort of the place, the fact that is has character by having localartists' work on the walls to purchase, and so on. There are restrooms available. They also have open mic night and music oncertain days. The coffee was delicious, and the pasties are to die for. If you're visiting Phoenixville, you gotta come here! Read more

Got a decaf americano and some gluten free thumbprint cookies. The vibe is great and the staff are nice. I?ll definitely be a... frequent customer. Edit - went again and got the gluten free breakfast flatbread - so good!! My husband got the pumpkin spicechai and that was also delicious. Read more
