Was wanting to come back to fattys for 2 years. Mouth watering for their crablegs. Had to fight to get the meat. Corn cold. ... Before potatoes and corn was seasoned like crablegs. Not anymore. My family rented a space and with at least thirty people, got top notch service. Staff accommodated all our needs in a timely... manner, supplying all of us with fresh drinks of all flavors, fresh appetizers and fresh hot entrees. Wonderful friendly staffin a prime location. Read more
I can see how this place is well loved. It's roomy, got a game room (with a door) for kids & a pretty big menu. It seems like... the kind of menu that if you know the good dishes, you might fair well. I say might because I am guessing & giving benefit ifthe doubt here. I can definitely see the potential. However, we didn't know them. I ordered the special (red fin with potatoes& veggies) potatoes were covered in a Cajun seasoning & were so salty they burned my tongue. Same with veggies & fish. Veggieswere better once I stirred them up some & I removed the blackened seasoning from the fish. I am not spice & flavoradverse...this mix was just too heavy on salt & the cooks were too heavy handed with the mix. The entire plate was a bit of amess (greasy & slung together) & all one flavor profile. Wife ordered the melt which was marked as a favorite. It sounded goodon paper but didn't come together on the plate. The gravy was sweet...maybe it had Swiss cheese? Not sure but her first bite wasa let down. Like most ppl say, the service was friendly. Very large and clean restaurant, all staff was very friendly and we were greeted and seated very quickly. The menu here is Cajun... inspired, it had a full parking lot so I decided to stop here. The staff was very nice, TJ was my server. The food was ok, notmy personal preference, they seem to cater to an older crowd. While I didn't like the food much they seemed too be popular withthe locals. My bill was very reasonably priced and I was able to close out and leave quickly. We went in with a big group today and were seated right away. Service was great, our drinks were never empty and food came out... hot and fast! The food was also delicious and everyone loved what they ordered! We will be back! Read more
I had the most awesome experience at the Fatty?s in Picayune! Of course the food was delicious but the service was fantastic!... Hanna was our server she made sure all our questions were answered and we had everything we needed and was super friendly !!Definitely will be coming back and requesting hanna as our server!! The food is always great ... highly recommend the Spinach / Artichoke appetizer!!
