If you haven't been inside in a while it's all self service with 4 kiosks to place orders. One of which accepts cash. Drinks are... self service. As of this date inside is till 10pm Drive thru till 2am. Had a Frisco Melt with Onion Rings. Read more
The overall experience was just average. We walked in they got rid of basically their service staff and any other cashiers and... went to computers or kiosks that you want to call them so we can place our food orders. I completely understand it since thefast food, this way they can take care of what they need. I remember the steak shake motto was fast food is never good foodthat's why we take our time. Well I can say that the food was not Superior to their motto. If you're going to get rid of yourgreater staff your hostess staff and your server staff and put all that money into the back of the house kitchen staff and thequality of your product then you are dropping the ball. The french fries were barely cooked, the bun was almost on theborderline of being stale, and the beef was greasier than normal. Since you have gone away from people greeting people andtaking care of such customers and sliding their food on a counter for them to pick up you could at least have better quality anda better product on an in the bag. Oil dipped burger plus dripping with so much oil onion rings and fries ????. First time delivery with uber eats. All of it... inedible. Jessica at this Steak n Shake provided email for me to send the receipt to her and she promised a replacement mealsyesterday. No response back. I have gone there mid day no issues but not going too any longer. I was here around 9:20ish, Feb 27th and this is the worst experience at this location I ever had. Usually this is my favorite.... Now I know who works at varies hours. I had ordered a specialty shake with my order because I had a free reward. It didn'taccept and I asked can they take the shake cost off. Everything went fine, so I thought. I'm not sure if they were being funnywith me because I no longer wanted the shake but my burger is crisp burnt. I have the pictures to prove it. Read more
Food was good, service was poor. Was missing a child meal, went back for it and it took 3 or 4 employees to discuss it over,... then what seemed to be the manager, eventually brought it out to us but then telling us the lady that bagged them put it in ourother bag. Like she was right and we were wrong. (Of course we already took everything out of the bags before even going back)We would not be saying we are missing a meal if we clearly had it. So after we said again that we didn't get the 3rd, he rudelysaid "well its right there" and walked away. No apologies from him at all and he just made it seem like we were wrong. Missingfood items is a norm from fast food places, but it's usually followed up with an apology and quickly getting the missing items.Never have we experienced this kind of behavior before. Some people need to find other jobs not dealing with customer service ifthey don't know how to show proper customer service. Read more
