I?ve come to El Tondero a few times now, but today I found the food more flavorful than ever before! The Lomo Saltado and... Ceviche were both 10/10 for me. Affordable prices, friendly staff, ample parking, delicious lucuma dessert ?what?s not to love? Read more

One of my favorite Peruvian places. Miles above all my local Downey ones, including Fernandos. Worth every penny. I always get... the Lomo Saltado and the Aguadito de pollo soup. Their soup (and aji) is completely unique. You wont find another soup thattaste like theirs at any other peruvian place. It is filled with rice, potatoes, chicken... Unlike other restaurants that skimpand make it mostly broth, they pack it full. The lady at the front is always very kind and the whole staff does a wonderful job.I love coming here and would recommend it to anyone who already loves Peruvian food or is looking try it. Read more

Now I will be honest I have tried many Peruvian restaurants because since my wife is Peruvian she likes to try different spots... to see which one tastes more like home and this place is very good, is it as good. Well no, but it sure is very delicious andrecommended anyone to try this location because. One, it?s a bit more affordable than other areas, also there Lomo Saltado ispretty good. Two, the service is awesome, the lady who works here is very kind and loving and we really appreciate that. Theonly thing that we were a bit indifferent was the Ceviche. Why? Well every place we have tried the ceviche was a lot morecolder. What I mean by that is. Well nobody likes warm raw fish, it tastes weird, not bad but it was weird. So beyond that, thecausa and Lomo was great. Read more
