Great breakfast local with interesting and exceptional menu. We had the falafel salad and the squash hummus toast and we enjoyed... it so much. Furthermore the staff was very welcoming and friendly and fulfilled extra wishes. The interior design was modern anda stylish mix between bicycle shop and café. Came in for coffee then notice the sign ?Bike Mechanic Available?! I wanted an experienced mechanic to look at my rear tire... because the hub felt loose and I?m riding from Toronto to Montreal with panniers in the back. Tony F. came out to have a lookand said he will have me up and riding safely in no time. I hung out with Tony in the shop at the back while he worked on mybike. Tony didn?t just tighten a loose bolt and me on my way. He took my rear wheel apart, cleaned all the components, greasedand lubricated!! AMAZING OVER THE TOP SERVICE and a GREAT HUMAN BEING!! Loved this cafe/shop. Breakfast sandwich was great. Coffee as great. Loved the children's space and the clothes are nice.
I needed a place to relax and enjoy a good cuppa coffee and a bit of a snack....this place totally hit the mark. Had my first... flat white, very good, and a croissant, also very good. Love when croissants are light and fluffly inside and crispy outside!Mmmm so good. The music was relaxing and at just the right level. Super friendly people behind the counter. I love coffee! And who doesn?t these days? It?s a phenomenon really. That said Main Street in Picton or The county in general... has no shortage of options. I haven?t tried them all but I have enjoyed all of them. Beacon was next on my list and I enjoyedthe experience. The baristas were personable and friendly and my caramel latte was very satisfying! Great coffee and snack spot. Beautiful design and the food was amazing! We had the tuna melt and the corn beef sandwich and they... were delicious! The service was super welcoming and friendly. Best Latte I?ve had I a while! We walked in 15mins before closing(which can be frazzling!) and the lovely barista didn?t... indicate that it bothered them at all. They were warm and efficient as they made the drinks. This place has got amazingstyle/design down to the details of the hooks in washrooms.
