This place might be one of the most popular breakfast spots in all of Prince Edward County! Luckily we were able to check it out... on a Monday before heading home and getting a table was no issue. Food was great, service was friendly and atmosphere was ablast from the past! Read more

The Vic?s bright colours and patio are like open arms, inviting you to enjoy good food, good times and good conversation. Pair... this warm and welcoming ambiance with a flavourful menu and the vibe of Picton and Prince Edward County, and you have theingredients for a perfect evening. The butter chicken was wonderful - rich, flavourful and well proportioned. The SmokehousePoutine is a decadent twist on the classic poutine, but made with Tater Tots and pulled pork. And the milkshake - simplyawesome! The service was engaging, and responsive. The live music (one-person band) only added to a wonderful diningexperience. Read more

The Vic has a nice colour scheme throughout the restaurant, even reached their sugar canisters! It is a family-friendly... restaurant, with a super cool ?Sprinkle Pancake? for the little ones which was quite a popular item! I had one of the bestchocolate milkshakes I?ve ever had (REAL whipped cream) but I found the breakfast quite expensive. That was the biggest downfallhere. The staff members are pleasant and hospitable, the restaurant is clean but it?s not an exceptional experience for the costof the meals. They also have no [fresh] fruit to offer as a side or on one?s plate, only coulis strawberries. Read more

We stopped through this cute diner after looking at some reviews and it definitely met the expectation. Ordered the vic burger... along with a Ceasars and a craft iced tea. The iced tea is from a can but isn't a typical iced tea - there's two flavors so besure to ask your waitress if they don't ask which one you want. The first one I got was red a blueberry raspberry I guess...notthat good then asked and was shown the black tea option and got that with some simple syrup added. It was superrefreshing. Burger meat was delicious - I often get bloated but the meat tasted real fresh and I felt great after! We waitedabout 15 minutes for our meals. Great little diner with an amazing burger and tots...didn't try anything else. Read more

Such a cute place to stop by! Their breakfast options are delicious and a fair price. It has am old school diner aesthetic which... was nice to see. They also have placemats you can colour in which both kids and adults can enjoy! Read more

I crave their breakfast poutine!! All the food we got here was so delicious and fresh. There was a line up when we went, so... make sure to get there a little early to be put on the waiting list. Also, when you get the notification to get your table, please head to the back of the line AGAIN! You will order your food right when you get in, so you would be budding the line forpeople getting take out AND for those waiting for dine in. If you notice anyone budding, just kindly let them know since thereis no staff monitoring the line outside! :) The decor was so ADORABLE. It had this whimsical and retro vibe to it. I even lovedthe bathrooms (yes, I included a bathroom selfie in this review). The patio outside was also such a lovely area to dine in. Wegot the Breakfast Poutine ($14). It came with a crispy fried egg, bacon, sausage, cheese curds, hollandaise and green onion overtots. The runny egg on top was made to perfection. The Queen's Big Breakfast was certainly big ($18). It came with 3 eggs, 3bacon, 3 sausage, greens, garlic mushrooms, tomato AND toast. The last item we tried was the Vic Burger ($17). PRO TIP: stoleone of the eggs from the Queen's Big Breakfast and put it inside the burger. :P The atmosphere of the place was lovely and weleft super full with leftovers to snack on during the day. I would definitely recommend this place to come with kids too!! Thisplace is also situated in a quaint and lovely little town so you can explore before or after your meal! Read more

The Vic promised much, but failed to deliver on everything. The decor and design are great, but our experience didn't start off... well as we had to wait 45 minutes for our food. Normally I wouldn't put too much emphasis on this, given the current situationbut there were customers that recieved their food before us even though they ordered 10 minutes later. When the food eventuallycame, it was pretty awful. I had the royal sandwich, which was bland, and a couple of people in our group had pancakes whichwere consistently burnt (check out the photo). This isn't great when a restaurant focused on breakfast can't even get the basicsright. One other point that was extremely disappointing...given that you pay upfront (even when eating in), that's when you paya tip, which we did. In hindsight we wouldn't have provided any tip. In summary, overpriced, terrible service and awful food...I would suggest avoiding. Read more
